If you make it to Couchfreaks I'm sure we can dance in between the keg bowling. I lived in Panama for 6 years and I really like to Salsa. I also like the Cumbia, Merengue, and Batchata. My wife and I have a latin dance place that we frequent and we always have a great time. Of course we don't have latin dance sport shoes but we seem to get by.

Type 17 or mini risers have a breaking strengh of 2500 pounds while Type 8 risers have a breaking strength of 4000 pounds. Both are safe for skydiving applications. In other words a breaking strength of 2500 pounds is more than adequate. Put another way if the force generated during a deployment would be enough to break a riser then it would almost surely incapacitate or kill the skydiver. Hello Mike, There was another skydiver on this forum recently who was not yet 18 and he also wanted to get into this sport. His user name is Korbin and you remind me of him. Korbin stated that he was a developer for a media firm that does websites and so it sounds like you will have some things in common. Amen and I agree. Passengers don't need that risk and I don't care who you are it is an added risk. There are too many TMs that make this proceduire the norm and just because a TM can do it doesn't mean they should do it. Common sense suggests that a hook turn gone wrong versus a standard landing gone wrong will have a more adverse consequence. Hopefully it won't be death but just a broken bone or two. My wife is amazing as well and we have done our silver anniversery and we are going for the gold. Hopefully she well keep me around. Every day I think what a lucky man I am to have found such a great woman. It works for us because we really enjoy being with each other. I read the article and it really generalizes and trys to extend her perception of her friend to all "dog" people. I like dogs but her portrayal of dog people is inaccurate at best. My daughter is a cat person and she doesn't fit the sterotype of cat people either. I do agree that dog lovers are different than cat lovers but to post my reasons would start a debate on why having a penis is better than having a vagina. -

When do you consider yourself a "skydiver"

If a person has jumped out of an airplane in flight then it makes a person a skydiver. How fast a skydiver lands determines if there is an option of skydiving again. -
There is nothing wrong with doing a solo exit like that because stability issues on exit won't really affect the skydive. However, on a group exit I would suggest presenting better to the realative wind. This will give more stability and not cause traffice problems for other jumpers on the skydive.In this case a 180 degree turn resulted before finally stabilizing and presenting to the realative wind, When I teach a diving exit like this I like to emphasize exiting with the right arm up and right leg up toward the wingtip. This presents the entire front of the body to the realative wind and it is very stable. I also tell jumpers to look at the wingtip as this helps them present correctly as well. It sounds like this forum could be the place to post about your incident. If it needs to be moved to another forum the mods will move it and retyping won't be necessary. Without knowing anything about what happended, one of the best sources for feedback will be your instructors. I would say go to a wind tunnel and get comfortable with flying. I would say also schedule some time with an instructor for a good FJC review. After those two things make an assessment of comfort level. If the comfort level still isn't there then turn in the tickets for a refund and take up another sport. This sport can kill you or hurt you in a hurry especially if there is any doubt regarding your ability to perform.
