I'm looking at flying out to SC the 1st week of July and was wondering if any CO jumpers have had any probs with thier rigs as carry on at DIA.And the same thing for jumpers in SC.I'll be flying into Myrtle Beach and was wondering about security there for the flight back.I've already checked the Delta website and it says that rigs are no prob.Just wondering about security while checking my bags.I plan on taking my rig as carry on and not checking it. Also,any ideas on how I should store my helmet.It will be checked in with my other bags. PLanning on hitting the beach and seeing my son and taking him to the 4th of July boogie in Raeford.I made my tandem there and have been wanting to go back and jump again.Kind of a nostalgia thing.

Damn,you're coming back this weekend and I'm jumping tommorow.Duey sent out a mail today and enough people replied back so tommorow is on for jumping.Oh,well.I guess I'll have to reserve a couple of jumps for sat for when you get here.We'll have to get a beer or something afterwards but not too much I have to work on sunday.And if I go in with a hangover I know the G/F will kill me after she finds out I'm working hungover.Oh,well.I'm in enough trouble as it is what's a little more?

I remmeber hearing that he was jumping at Sky dive Arizona for a while.Don't know if he still does or not.I was asking this same question to somebody else a few weeks ago.

When I moved to Colorado from south carolina I pulled my retirement out and have spent almost everybit of it on skydiving.At the point now that I need a 2nd job.If you were to look in my check book there is only 3 places my money goes.1 child support 2. truck payment and 3. Sky Dive the Rockies.After that I have no money left for anything else.

Dude, Keep your head up.You'll find somebody who understands the addiction,It may take a while to find here but that does'nt mean you can't have fun along the way.It does'nt matter if she's a wuffo or skygoddess.The right person will come along. I know I got one of the good ones.She's a wuffo but she understands.AS a matter of fact I was at the dz last weekend while she was doing homework and she called to see how things were going and because I was in such a good mood even for not jumping because the winds were too high for me to jump.She has ordered that I will spend 2 weekends a month at the dz so that I won't be in a bad mood.SO now.I will be there weather I jump or not.SO Keep your head and and don't give up.You'll find someone.

I have a new dolphin.It has the tuck tabs.And I love it.I just wish now I would have ordered it with some color instead of all black.But I'm very happy with it.Fits great.I think it looks good.And have had no problems with it at all.

After months of waiting and doing the mailbox patrol thing.It's now official.I have my "A" license. #A-42709. It's finally arrived.I don't know whether to frame it or put it in my wallet and carry it around with me.All I know is that I'm glad it's finally came.Now I can go off mailbox patrol and just trow away all the bills I get since I have what I've been looking for.

I never thought about it like that.That's a good one.What's funny about the whole thing is everytime we go out it is a real adventure.We went out a couple of weeks ago and went to outback for dinner.There was a couple of drunks at the bar right beside us that were making a scene and one of them ends up having a heart attack so after they moved us to another table they give us the dinner for free.It's been fun I can say that much.

Started out the weekend on saturday morning by having to go to a driving class for work(cevo).Ended up having the person riding with me whiteknuckling the dashboard.It was so funny that I ended up having a headache from laughing so hard.There is one part of the course where you have to take a curve as fast as you can get than come up to a simulated wall and the instructor yells either left or right and you have to slam on the brakes and steer away from said wall and the accelerate past it.It was a riot.I was going to key up the P.A. so everybody could hear my partner screaming.Then after the course I went out with a very beautiful lady to celebrate my 10th anniversary being in EMS.I can't believe it's been 10 yrs.Any way,went to T.G.I. Fridays for the 1st time.Nice meal good place to go.Later that night we went to the Chop House in Denver.Expensive place(at least on a paramedic salary it is)Good atmosphere.She refused to let me pay for dinner.Any way Great food,Tried calamari for the 1st time.I tried to argue with her that squid was bait but she would'nt listen,It was ok.Not my favorite.So,anyway.leaving the restaurant and it's a rain/snow mix.Had to wait for the valet to get my truck(another 1st).Thank god I just cleaned it out.Leave the restaurant and my alternator dies.I am so embarrassed by this time.Got a ride back to her house and ended up staying there since I was broke down.Got up the next morning the go get my truck and I'm joking around with her saying that it's probably up on blocks and covered in graffeti.Get there and someone had shot my window out.Still have to dig the bullet out of the pass. door.Now she's feeling bad but I'm laughing about it.Why I don't know but I was.I kept telling her not to worry about it that things happen.So,get the truck towed back to her house and while she goes to her son's b-day party I'm freezing my butt off putting on a new alternator($275).So get it on and everything is running right.Now she won't let me leave because of the broken window.Tells me to take her car home and she would find a ride to work today.I say I could'nt impose on her like that.So,end up satying the night again and had to call into work today and take 1/2 the shift off so I could get the new window and get a clean uniform for work tonight.So that's how my weekend went.Loads of fun and can't wait to see her again.So far,everytime we have gone out it has been a adventure,but I told her that all the adventures we are having are creating better memories for us to look back on.

I had heard a lot of bad things about them also and was shocked when I got a quick reply from them.They had emailed me back because I forgot to add my membership # when I asked about the lisc.Then I got the confirmation the next day.So I was and am very pleased with the quick response.

Oh yeah,Can't wait.And since the woman I'm seeing lives in Denver,I can just leave her house and go up to Longmont and make a few jumps.

I'm currently dating a wuffo.She says she understands and has no problem with it as long as I promise here to be careful.Of course she says we are all certifiably crazy.She says she might try a tandem one day.So I got to work on getting her into the sky sop she can really understand the passion we all have.

I sent my stuff in back in feb. for my "A" and had heard nothing form them.So yesterday I wrote to the USPA asking about it and here is the response I got back from them this morning..... "Clint, Congratulations! Your A license number (A-42709), was issued on April 1st, and a new membership card will print up on Monday and be mailed out to you next week. You can print out this email and use it as confirmation of you license until you receive your new card. Please let me know if you need additional information, and I hope you have a great weekend. If I put out because she buys me dinner does'nt that make me a slut? I'll feel so degraded to be used like that.And she won't respect me afterwards.What a delima.

My partner at work told me that if she's paying for this kind of upscale restaurant I better be putting out that night.

So I guess that means no feet on the table at the restaurant then right? Will a face plant into the soup be acceptable?

Ok everybody.As I reported last week about the date I had, here's new updates and questions.Since Our date last sunday we have been talking almost nonstop,and before our date we had been talking and getting to know each other for a couple of months, and she has come by where I work to visit me a couple of times in between me running calls.It has been a very nice diversion getting to see her.Any way we are going out again on saturday and we are going to a very upscale restaurant.I'll even be wearing a tie again for the (not going to say the "F" word) time in years.So,She tells me where we are going and that She will be paying for everything.I tried to argue the gesture but she says the only way that I'll be paying is if I stand her up and go somewhere else by myself,which there is no way I'm doing that.Oh and I'm supposed to meet the parents on this night also.I'm kinda nervous about meeting the parents.For some reason I can never make a good impression with them. So, opinions please.Does this sound like it's getting serious or what?
