    Thanks for the link! I'd never really considered it, but have now sent a few e-mails to get more info. I came across pricing on one supplier's website & the monthly costs are quite cheap. The initial hardware installation was quoted as $2295, though. If that's the standard, I won't be able to go that route The only certain thing is that I WILL be changing my ISP.

    Never would I commit such a heresy as drinking a good whisky or bourbon mixed with something! Some of the lesser ones, well... I never realized the difference between Bourbon & Tennessee whiskey. This is what Wikipedia has to say: Tennessee_whiskey & Bourbon_whiskey. Thanks for the heads up & I'll see if I can find some of the ones mentioned

    OK, I'm going to bed & let the people who know about these things battle it out... I've always been partial to Jim Beam White label, but recently the Black label (8 years old) variant has become available here in SA. It's actually imported by friends of mine, so I've been able to sample both quite extensively The new JB seems too woody for me to be enjoyed neat. If I had to, I'd rather go for Jack if there's no other choice, although I've also enjoyed Wild Turkey. These are the bourbons most common in SA, so I'd like some opinions on which you guys prefer

    Besides Eskom (SA's only supplier of electricity) imposing regular 'loadshedding' (cutting the power on a regular schedule due to lack of adequate supply), my ISP is screwed. I'm on a cellular modem & used to get 3.6 Mb/s. For the past 2 weeks I can only connect at 53.6 Kb/s (same as dial-up)... May I please have a hug? A VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! D.S # 125

    My fridge kept doing that a few years back. After installing 2 new thermostats it turned out to be a gas leak in the cooling system. Doesn't quite make sense, but after the offending piece of pipe was replaced, it's working fine. A VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! D.S # 125
