Thank you all, I appreciate your kind words and hugs. I really need them now. Things got worst this morning as I was getting ready for the funeral. I was told that there will be no funeral, only a service. They've taken his body to another town, seems like the autopsy wasn't finished. Seems like things will get worse before we can finally say our goodbyes to him. His best friend isn't taking this very well. He kept telling me that this can't be real, that Elmar (our friend) is going to come around the corner and have a laugh at us all. And the worst part is that the guy that killed him got bail this morning and even attended the service. In some weird way I feel very sorry for him and I really do try hard not to judge him, but he took a good friend away from me, and I doubt if I would ever forgive him for that. Thanx again to all.

Things like this only happens to somebody else and sometimes only in the movies. Last week I received news that an old friend of mine committed suicide. Then rumours began to surface that he's been shot by his flatmate. He was left handed but was shot in the right side of his head. The flatmate states that he didn't hear the shot and found my friend dead on the livingroom floor at about 4am. And he was so shocked that he picked up the gun and ran to the neighbours for help. Later someone overheard him and another woman talking and she said to him to stick to his story and all will be well. The autopsy (sp?) was finished this morning and my friend's flatmate was arrested for murder. I've known my friend my whole life. We grew up together, went to the same primary schools and later graduted from the same high school. He was the most stunning person. Always laughing. Always helpfull, nothing was too much trouble for him. How do I work through this? How do I put this behind me and move on? This can't be happening.

In my parts of the world it's a full blown tradition to jump your 100th naked. And everybody going with you on that load has to be naked as well. My b/f will do his 100th next weekend. And he wants me to be on the load with him. PS: I'm the only female skydiver in the club. It sucks, 'cause now I'll have to jump naked on everybody's 100th. Aw, well, all for a good cause. I apologise. My post now sounds lame to even me. Last night they had a special on Tv about 9/11. Two French brothers were making a documentary about a rookie firefighter becoming a real firefighter. They were the first in Tower 1 and all was captured on film. I will never in my life forget that crushing sound as people that had jumped from windows hit the ground. The look on the firefighters' faces as they realised what had made that sound, and the astonishment on everybody's face. It took me about half an hour to write this post, because I'm still speechless. I'm shocked to the core of my sole. I never knew, I never imagined... May everyone that has been touched by this be blessed. Gene Police: "YOU!! Out of the pool, NOW!!!"

Yes, Jose, acctually I am being affected right now due to the attacks on the Towers. As a direct result our dz might have to close down due to insurances that has gone skyhigh since the attacks. Insurances has gone up 200%. I might lose my home... Gene Police: "YOU!! Out of the pool, NOW!!!"

Coming to work this morning I saw alot of cars with their headlights on. Paying their respects to the people that died, was injured or lost loved ones in the terrorist attack a year ago. As I sat at my desk, I could recall every scene of the planes flying into the Towers, the smoke, the screams and finally everthing collapsing. I remembered sitting in front of the TV that day, crying. Crying for the families losing a loved one, rescue workers dying to save others. I was miles away, but still could feel the shock and horror. Today I pay my respects to everyone who died, lost a loved one or survived. I wasn't touch personally (family or friends wise), but I'll never forget 11.09.01. Gene Police: "YOU!!
