Being depressed and wanting to jump

Good question. Can't really help you out tho. When I get depressed for whatever reason, I want to jump. Just to clear out my head. When I started jumping (again), I was single, met my current b/f who is also a skydiver. Never had the urge to NOT jump. Anyone got a good answer to this question? Gene Police: "YOU!! I got through my s/l progression ok, but had some problems with my freefall progression. Couldn't get the 180turns right. Had to do 4 jumps before I got it right. Since then, no hang ups. Gene Police: "YOU!! Out of the pool, NOW!!!"

It was a very close call between the skydive, peacefully or the sex option.... I would also rather freeze to death, than to burn to death. I imagine that freezing doesn't involve that much pain. You just go numb from the cold. Gene Police: "YOU!! Out of the pool, NOW!!!"

A 1 1/2 yrs. Did my first jump, (now ex-)boyfriend didn't like the idea of me skydiving and told me to quit. It took me 1 1/2 yr to realise that the once of expierence I had with my first jump meant more to me than he did. Do I dished him and went skyidiving. Gene Police: "YOU!! Out of the pool, NOW!!!" -

I'm basically the only active female skydiver left in my country. And boy, do I get all those comments and bs, but I just take it as it is. A load full of bull. I don't let it interfere with my skydiving or my personal life. I will even start joking with some of the guys and their wives/gf don't seem to mind, because they all know what we are like. So like Viking said, if you can't take the heat... But it will still be sad to see a fellow female skydiver quitting because of this. Gene Police: "YOU!! Out of the pool, NOW!!!"

Suz, I'm 25 and have no intention of marrying in the near future. Yes I have a steady b/f, but we're still have a lot of things to sort out. I think my mom gave up on us to marry and have kids. We are four daughters : the eldest is happily married with 2 childred, the second is a lesbian, the third is a field player and I am just too scared of marriage. Gene Police: "YOU!! I still jump at the DZ where I did my first jump, it's my home DZ as well. The club has been going strong for 30 years, but know we are experiencing trouble and might have to close down. I jump there simply because I don't want it to close down. Gene Police: "YOU!! Out of the pool, NOW!!!"
