    That's a great point that is so often overlooked today. We talk about it today as though Bush was the only person on the planet insisting they had WMD. The truth is, every intelligence agency in the world believed Hussein had and would use WMD. Hell, even the NYT thought they had WMD. Too much fox news. Your entire post is false. There were plenty of reports and agencies disputing the claims of WMD prior to the war. Bush just chose to ignore them.

    Hopefully, this will become an antitrust case. I wouldn't be suprised. There's definitely price fixing going on when the five biggest oil companies all just had their most profitable quarter ever, during record high gas prices. If we get the oil companies out of the white house, an investigation might have a chance.

    You must have just stuck to the clubs in the casinos...or got really unlucky. I'm personally not real into clubbing, but in Vegas anything goes, and you can definitely find house in a lot of places, just not on the strip.

    Did you happen to see William Kristol on The Daily Show the other night? He appeared downright embarassed to have been a Bush supporter (even though he's part of what made Bush what he is). He was definitely trying to distance himself from the administration.

    Good for you. The point everyone seems to be missing is that you don't get to decide what does or doesn't offend other people. No, you can't go through life without saying something that will offend somebody. But there are certain topics that everyone KNOWS will offend someone. If you don't want to be branded offensive, don't talk about them. If you don't mind being offensive, have at it, but don't wine about it when the "overly sensitive" people call you offensive.

    That's a derogatory term. You might not find it offensive, but others do. The world isn't based on YOUR perceptions. Saying derogatory things and then saying you don't think they're derogatory doesn't make it so. You don't get to judge how your own words are perceived by others. You know it's viewed that way, yet you say it intentionally to be controversial and then try to defend it. Your posts are often insulting and crass. Just giving you MY perception. If you don't mind coming across that way, keep it up. No one is going to stop you.

    Why such hostility toward your fellow citizens, fellow human kind? Why is it than any policy that tries to elevate people above the level of poverty is so offensive to some people? It strikes me of lacking in any empathy whatsoever.

    Problem is...that's not news down here, so most people don't know atout it. We've been ordered, by a body we set up and largely govern, to pay restitution and have refused to do so. If another country did that to us, I wonder what people would say?

    Ummm..that's practically the definition of racist. It's not something new. I know a whole hell of a lot of fat ass black guys that couldn't run a block. Hmmm, in fact I saw 16 of them in the past week. That must mean ALL black people are fat. When you categorize people based on a specific trait that happens to be dominant for their race, you're usually excluding (and insulting) a good portion of the members of that race that don't have that trait. Do you like it when someone lies about you? That's what it is like if you say something about a subset of a race and claim it applies to all of them.

    Actually I think people objected to your use of racially derogatory terms in expressing your opinion, not the opinion itself. It's not what you say, it's HOW you say it that seems to get people steamed at you. Just some friendly advice.
