Cool, thanks for the pics. I'm looking to do the same with my simon gloves. Just trying to figure out away to get rid of the larger go-housing and go to something smaller and more low profile
-
how are you mounting the go-pro's to your gloves? pics?

Go-Pro on a Simon (skydiving services) hand-cam ?
Skydive2 replied to Skydive2's topic in Instructors
Of course with FaceBook and smart phones, everyone wants pics, almost more than video it seems. Myself and most of my co-works have Simon gloves, with CX100's-150's. I hate to get rid of these perfectly good gloves/camera to upgrade to the duel go-pro. Is anyone mounting a go-pro on top of these gloves for stills? I was thinking a soft casing for the camera, and some industrial Velcro. Any ideas/experience with this? -
Does anyone know where I could find a smaller, more low profile, "soft"casing for my go-pro?

Does anyone know who bought Lake Wales? future plans?

Ok you got me...looks like a Quasar crossed with a Vector II tdm. lol, Like a good friend with over 15,000 jumps said about strong along time ago.......1980's technology with 1990's mods...LOL, seems to be holding true

I was checking out the new Strong tandem system in this months parachutist. Is it just me or does it look just like a Vector II system from the 80's? still using tuck-tabs? Does any one know what and "H" style drogue is?

I'm looking to rebuild our DZ website, I've never had any luck finding a good web guy or company. I'm not looking to spend a million bucks, just need a nice professional website to sell tandems and more importantly someone who is very familiar with getting us at the top of all the search engines. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Real Xstream video maker. Anyone using it?
Skydive2 replied to Skydive2's topic in Photography and Video
Is anyone here using real xstream video maker? seems like the way to go but was wondering if anyone has worked with it? -
Thanks Matt, Airwardo and DSE. The flag set-up you are jumping with DSE is what I had envisioned. As far as the 'snap' to lock it to the toggle rig and hip rig, what are you using? Lance

The landing area is huge. I was going to use my Velo 96 with a smaller (5x5 ish) flag. That being said I could go bigger and grab a Nav 240 so I could go with a much bigger flag.

I've been asked to a July 4th demo with an american flag. Does anyone have any good setups that I could purchase? I was thinking of just a drop flag, nothing huge, have a few ideas on how to set it up with a fanny pack type of thing, but would love any input.

these guys are most likely half the price with a much better selection.. www.alibaba.com

your numbers seems a bit high. I could pick up a low time 206 with a mid time engine (resale value of $15-$20k) for under $89,000. used or overhauled -20's are not much more than that number also

youtube link? to Perris DC-3 fire circa 1985
Skydive2 replied to kleggo's topic in Skydiving History & Trivia
I thought I heard a story that just prior to that they had the DC-3 stuck and used boards under the wheels to get it free, one of the boards kicked up and went into the blade and that may have caused damage....can anyone confirm that? just wondering -
Anyone else jump the new Precision Tandem Main yet?
Skydive2 replied to Ron's topic in Tandem Skydiving
So is this "new precision tandem" actually a new design or are we just talking about the standard precision with the new HMA 1200 lines??? -
