Man I'm in such rare form tonight- Long post and kinda rambling - Behold my soul- I've just been hit by a brick - No, a cricket bat - Baseball bat, 2x4, lead pipe, a soccer ball, what ever, to the back of the head - all that rolled up into one and it's left my head spinning - Way worse than any hard opening I've had, or hitting my head on some immovable object at work. Ever known some one - Maybe on a more casual basis, for a while, y'know? Been intrigued, had some good times, ne'er thought much of it - maybe shared a few angry moments, but overall good? And kinda felt there was maybe some sort of connection - but not persued that for whatever reason - (you/them attached to some one else, not sure if the feeling was mutual, etc. ) So it fades off into the sunset - And you all but forget about it, right? And out of the blue, it hits you - What might have triggered it would be a sight, a photograph, a smell, or a sound or song, a deja vu kinda moment, something like that, And all of a sudden, you realize not just the outer beauty but the inner beauty, too, and it hits you like nothing you've ever experienced. And you think, no, you feel, deep - like the E chord of the universe - She could be The One! I'd throw myself at her feet at this moment. Lie on my back in her radiance and feel her warm the deepest parts of my soul. It's overwhelming what I'm feeling right now - Totally defies description like the euphoria of your first jump. I could go on but that might break the record for the longest post ever. I'll spare you the boredom. And I'll go to bed tonight - alone in both bliss and ignorant misery. If and/or when I ever see her again, (and I'm sure I will) I'll never be able to let her know how she, her wonderful beauty, her brief involvement in my life, and her influence, "hit" me tonight. Can't even let her catch a brief glimpse - Gotta be tough, y'know? Besides, I'll never know if I even come close to deserving her, much less her love. Head over fuckin' heels, man. Perhaps it will be just a nod from accross the room, or maybe I'll get a hug and a peck on the cheek - I won't let her - or anyone else, - see the tear. Nope - I'd be tough - Get back on the bike - Or on the plane - Or in my truck - And head off relishing that brief moment. And she will probably never know how I feel.
