Ther is an ice cream parlor in West Palm that uses the same idea in its bathrooms. The doors and walls are clear, but when you lock the door they fill with smoke/steam so no one can see in. It's really cool, especially when drunk people go in at night and *forget* to lock the door. __

Had a job interview this morning for a kickass position in Sarasota. Apparently, for some reason unknown to me, they loved me enough to ask for a second interview. WIsh me luck on Monday! this is a mega raise for me (like 5-15K more a year), would mean living where I want to live, and a promotion. __

Also, it's July. That's a long way from January. Ask again in say, November or December. I also have an extra tent, but it's a 3 person tent and not able to stand up in. Looking around most DZs the tents aren't the kind you're looking for. The trailers at ZHills are an excellent idea, and not that expensive at all. I think Deland has some houses that rent out rooms, etc etc as well. __

You will probably have to get a temporary USPA membership. It's only like $15, and lasts for 45 days. It's required because (I think) your APF doesn't cover insurance stuff here in the US. Email the DZs to make sure, but even if you do have to join, it's only $15 for 45 days. They'll give you a temp card, etc etc to use wherever you go. __

Champaign is by far the easiest, unless you are renting a car. If you are renting a car, then go fo r non stop. There are shuttle vans and cabs from Champaign airport to the convention for around 20$ __ -

2*:2:0 2 people on my bad kids list Saturday evening for barrell rolling over my face when I was trying to sleep. Also 2 tons of packing peanuts dumped in bendywendy's car. 2 jumps with Sebastian XS at the sparsely attended FSL meet on Sat. Had some exit issues, and a camera issue on the second jump. OC got hurt on the second jump by some mega power docking which threw us out the rest of the day. ah well. Richard Schachner was seen in a pretty turquoise pro-tec. Taught Galen the correct pronounciation of "tube stows" not to be confused with "Tube socks." __

Nice. Bill spent Friday night waving a lighter and singing "Man, I Feel like a Woman" all night. __

My parents put their dog with the vet while they are gone. They had horrible experiences with various kennels, Max came home all bone and hadn't eaten the whole time (he actually has medication for separation problems- valium). The vet kept him out all day to wander around the lobby so he got tons of attentnion and people-time. He came home fatter than when he left. Check your local vet.

The funniest part is that approximately 24 hours before the "owie" post, I clearly recall these words coming from the Bytchs lips "I"m not drinking. I am saving myself for Rantoul." Last night was hilarious. Except when I went to sleep and had Bean jump on the bed and log roll over me. __
