    I ask because you said companies should be allowed to be as greedy as they want without breaking laws, labor, or trade agreements. The big 3 were punished substantially for their wrongs and continued their business. Now, they're failing misserably. My point is that your suggestion of not allowing them to break laws is already in place and obviously did nothing to stop the current situation from arising. "Stopping the excesses," as you put it, is entirely different than not allowing people to break the law.     I'm kinda familiar with Ramsey's concepts and it probably had something to do with debt. He hates credit cards and insists that only one should be around for absolute emergencies. The opportunity to run up debt in order to give to charity isn't really giving anything. It just creates more debt in a time of debt crisis. Maybe only allowing debit cards at the donations would be better. That is a total guess at what he may have meant. -------------------------------------------------- Stay positive and love your life.

    Actually, I said I agree with quade in the first place. If it makes you feel clever then, ok. Edited: What does the discussion of the DoD picture have to do with bi-partisan politics anyway? The argrument is over a picture put out by an organization with no political affiliation of a person who cannot back either party.     He refuses to wear one. Altering the photo would be lying. I'm sure the General has no problem being around flags. That said, I actually agree with quade. John is right; it's not a big deal by itself. The problem is that it opens the door for questions like, "If you lied about something simple like this, then what else are you lying about?"     Change from 8 wasted years of Bush/Cheney neo-fascism IS change. McCain would've been change, too then. So he voted with Bush 90% of the time. If we're not defining change (depends on what your definition of is, is) then 10% difference is change. If all the country wanted was change from Republicans then why Obama? If he's just appointing Clinton's administration anyway, then wouldn't Hillary have been a better choice? No she wouldn't, because the promise of change included a departure from the "broken mess of Washington." Then you went on a rant about Hannity, further proving my point that you're avoiding the obvious hypocracy in Obama's choices so far.     Oh, my poor tiny brain just can't understand what change means... Obama has said he may be looking to create a "team of rivals." But this stack-up of Clinton veterans in the Obama administration has already caused buzz that this may not be what some people were looking for when they voted for change. Buried in that Rasmussen poll was this nugget: "Despite the support for Clinton to be secretary of state, 70% of voters think Obama should reach out and appoint new people for his Cabinet rather than including more people who served in the Clinton administration." I find it hilarious, but not surprising, that you defend Obama's appointments of life-long Washington politicians as change. -------------------------------------------------- Stay positive and love your life.

And this time you have people disguised as a sane voice for their party spreading the venom over 50,000 watt radio stations in every city around the country. There is a real concern for what they are doing and the damage it will cause. So Obama's appointment of numerous Clinton employees and Washington insiders is conservative radio's fault? It's not a conspiracy by Saun Hannity to expose choices like Biden, Emanuel, and possibly Hillary as the complete opposite of change. I feel like you're completely dodging the fact that Obama's promise of change is thus far represented by people who've been in Washington for 20 or 30 years. Did the GOP complain when Bush Jr hired all of Daddy's flunkys that helped lead this country to ruin? Bush's campaign slogan wasn't "Change We Can Believe In." If someone isn't paying into the system then the system shouldn't be paying back to them. It's obviously a fundamental difference in opinion.     Under current policy that is 65k people who are a risk to OPSEC. I've been against the policy all along simply because of the risk of blackmail. "Tell me your unit's SOI, or your career is ruined." End the policy now.
