Reading somebody elses posts about the end of the world got me thinking.... so what do you think?

my wife and I did that for the whole 12 week period and we both saw really good results. I can summarize the plan for you. Mon: upper body tue: 20 min high intensity interval running wed: lower body Thu: 20 min... Fri: upper sat 20 min... the next week you start with lower body and repeat cycle. All lifts are based on 5 sets w/ increasing intensity and reps, etc... eat 6 meals a day comprised of a small lean protien, small clean complex carbohydrate and a veggie portion. my wife lost weight and I gained weight but lost body fat, decent plan to get started.

I see you are in Dallas, i have studied various styles of martial arts over the years and competed in full contact shoot fighting in 92-93 (kind of like UFC now). studied the following karate (shotokan) chan shou do (mixture of 3 differen styles hard and soft). muy thai wrestling chi na (small joint manipulation) again it's been quite a while but if your interested in hooking up to beat the crap out of eachother i'm game send me a PM if your interested as I am in the Dallas area too... The only thing that I would add to this list is that there is definitely a discrepancy between the 2 published "A" license cards from the USPA. if you use the 4 page card there is no reference of RSL or it's use, so theoretically a student could get there license without this knowledge. My suggestion is that either the 4 page card is removed, or updated. personally i dont' think there should be two different documents for the same purpose anyways..

I consider myself a student even though I have my A license. the AFF / SDU / Coaches / STA / DZO / and trusted others will always be my instructors. 100 jumps, 500 jumps people are always learning new things. are you a student when you have 500 jumps and are trying to get a rating for say your AFFI rating, i would say you are.

my question to you then would be, why did you not even attempt to pull your reserve handle. I'm pretty sure that If i'm faced with a situation that i need to cutaway my main (yes I have an rsl). I will be following the EP tought to me! i think that there is enough time between when you initate the cutaway before the rsl starts to deploy your reserve that you should have pulled sillver atleast during that sequence. my EP's are "look right grab right(cutway), look left grab left" (silver). peel punch arch, punch arch. i dont' care if the reserve is deploying or not i'm pulling both in that situation, period!.

we allmost booked the whole trip for negril hedonism 2, but when my wife checked the next day the prices doubled there.. i didn't know they sold day passes to it though, i think that will be one stop we make... thanks. yeah, i've heard some nightmares about the all inclusive bits where your stuck on there premises... the way it was explained to me, is that anytime you have your reserve out, you better have pulled all handles. regardless of what equipement you have. If i remember correctly if you hadn't pulled both and your reserve was out (RSL or Cypress) you were still going to be grounded and re-trained prior to going back up, even if the person 'knew' their procedures but failed to initiate them correctly due to high levels of stress under the current circumstances.

i'll try to remember to post how it went, but don't count on it as I'm sure I may not remember all that took place during our vacation.... this is my wife and i's first alone vacation after 11 years of marriage....
