Interesting mix, My only suggestion would be to swap the lead guitarist for maybe Kirk hammit or possibly the late Darrel "Dimebag" from pantera....

Very nice website, well put together with lots of good information! Being new to skydiving i'm surprised this hasn't already happened yet, and I long for the day that I will be able to have the skill to jump a 4-way VRW!

hate to say this man but looking at the writing on your back that is going to bleed out and be quite hard to read after 5-10 years as small as it appears, but the photo may be deceiving. In anycase I love the tattoo...

I just wanted to say thanks everyone for your advice and comments! I did my AFF -5 jump (360 degree turns) on Saturday and all went well. I still got the two signals that I consistantly get legs out and knees shoulder with apart during the jump but was able to complete 4 360's the first 3 were pretty slow, then my instructor pointed to herself and did a 360 that was REALLY fast and after watching her do it I pulled a really fast one too. During my de-brief she explained that because my legs were too far apart it was slowing my turns down, but on my last turn i had good leg position and was able to whip it pretty good. Thanks again!

i've been told you can do that to help, but so far every jump i'm too focused on passing the requirement to remember to do toe taps, maybe I should just practice doing them in my mind every time i check my alt between turns for this level... thanks for reminding me about that!

Hey all, being new here and reading TONS of threads I wanted to post a quick question that I couldn't find a thread on. I'm doing my AFF level 5 jump tomorrow morning and have passed each level thus far but in my log book and comments from my instructers my main 'problem' or "area of oppurtunity" is my leg / knee position. Basically each jump i have been told that my legs are too wide and I am not extending my lower legs enough. I know I need to focus on these two things for this jump as it is completely solo and I was hoping someone could give me some advice as to how to be more aware of my leg position during freefall? Thanks in advance! Dan

Being new to DZ.com and skydiving all together I can't wait to get my license to go and jump at other dz's, this sounds like it would be a blast cruising around and jumping in new places. thanks for all the info about cowtown freak, i'll be sure to check it out this year.

Hey Dallas, I am also new to skydiving and currently in AFF (level 4) at Skydive dallas... of you search for dropzones on this site you will find 2 DZ's near the DFW area but I would recommend SDD as the instructors have been great and so is the atmosphere there.... just my 2 cents...

Thanks Andrea, i can't wait to complete all of AFF and SDU to get my license and check out other dropzone's!!!

Well, I just wanted to introduce myself as I hope to learn a lot here as well as be able to contribute at some point too! My name is Dan (surprised?) I am currently in AFF my next jump is scheduled for this coming Saturday Level 4 at Skydive Dallas. I got my first jump (AFF solo level 1) for my 30th birthday and as expected I fell in love with it! the bad part is i'm already selling other things to pay for more jumps! I can't wait to be able to start SDU and check out other DZ's around Tx to start with, and hopefully be able to hit some of the other 'popular' dropzones ;)
