ok, i'm looking for a rig and found one where the reserve has never been pulled or repacked since it was purchased in 99. Is it bad to leave your reserve packed for so long? should I forget about offering this guy my $$$ for his rig? Thanks for your insight....

Thanks for the comments, as far as went we hung out afterwards and had a few and shared some stories it was a blast! I'm not sure if i'll be making it out there this weekend due to a number of frustrating other things i need to take care of. that stinks that you had to cutaway on your final aff stage, that is pretty crazy and I bet it doesn't happen often...

woo hoo! on saturday I finally got to jump my AFFL7 and passed! plus i got 2 solos in, boy that was fun. this was my 5th week in a row out at the DZ and I finally got to jump! we never got to full altitude on Saturday due to the cloud deck, but I got to jump from 10.5, 11, and 8 grand! Freefall from 8 grand goes way quick!

i just went straight to AFF, no real reason behind that decision other then I kinda thought tandems were lame before I jumped. But i think they make good points about being able to relax and take in the experience for your first two jumps. You probably won't be as stressed out when you do your first AFF after that like others said....

if your's moves, then you might be, but i have one and would show a buddy if he was curious... who cares we all have em they just come in differen shapes, sizes, etc....
