  1. Yeah dude didn't mean to catch an edge on that one. like I said to another person I'm not looking for extra performance but I need a solution to stowing my slider faster. Right now it really is a pain in the ass. I'm really not going to buy an rds because its just too much for me. But really I can either not stow my slider at all. or buy an rds. But I know considerable difference when I do take the 45+ seconds when I stow my slider. "I'll probably piss an moan like an inconsiderate jerk"-Jim Carey Na' Cho' Cheese
  2. Really getting into the idea of getting an rds. I'm kind of confused about all the different styles and kinds. I'd like to know what the most popular ones are. Pros and cons of each system and maybe the whole rds idea. Here's some pics I've obtained. I did a search and haven't found any pics of an RDS so here you go. How hard would it be to make an rds. Looking at the picture its like less than $75 worth of material. *sorry for all the polls. I think I'm in a poll stage of dz.com Na' Cho' Cheese
  3. honestly I would buy a smaller container with like a PD106R puts me at about 1.5 WL Na' Cho' Cheese
  4. I like it's comfort and overall style over that of the Racer. the mirage just looks more appealing to meQuote I think this is the one real arguement that can not be changed. Thus its an opinion. Every other little thing seems to be nit-pickey. Na' Cho' Cheese
  5. My PC7 But seriously you can find a good sony HC40 for like $250 on ebay. Thats really all you need. Na' Cho' Cheese
  6. Yeah the av cable thing on my 109 has one right on the camera next to the lanc. I thought the fire wire was dv to fire wire port. P.S. Thanks to all who helped me out about buying a firewire card. 14.99 at radioshack. I can now edit my own videos. Na' Cho' Cheese
  7. fu** dude I can barely do a 360 on my x-fire (1.7wl) any advice? Harness...? Yeah thats what I've been doing. Surging into the turn? That seems to be helping me the most. Na' Cho' Cheese
  8. You'd be surprised at who I remember... Now I'm kind of scared of snakes... Thats in the past dude. Don't tell me your name because now I'm curious. Edit to add: I haven't asked my dad yet but your from Nevada? Its either Archie or Wedge. Am I right or am I right. Na' Cho' Cheese

  10. Hi I have some questions about flying. My friend and I are going to book an hour at the tunnel in Perris (30 minutes each). My friend wants to freefly as well as I do but with a little RW. We were looking at coaching and its like $150 for the half hour. From what I gathered there's an instructor with us there anyways? Now can the instructor coach us on freeflying or will he be in there so we don't kill ourselves. I'd rather get mediocre person teaching me for free... than paying top dollar. -get what you pay for type thing Na' Cho' Cheese
  11. Dude I was brought up on racers. They're very unique. Pin protection is awesome on both main and reserves. Riser covers are pretty unique too. They have there own little slot that they go in. I'm a big freeflyer and haven't seen a problem with my rig. It just has the walrus teeth. I also wingsuit in my rig with no other mods to it. I don't know what it is that makes it so comfortable but it is. I also like the way that it looks simple. 4 flaps.. poptop on them all. I'm looking at 3 mirages right now and I see a wide and bulky rig. numerous reserve flaps and secondary riser covers. Many rings to trying to duplicate racers comfortability. What do you see in MIRAGE?! If all the sudden racer went out of business I would buy and infinity though. Na' Cho' Cheese
  12. Actually dude its just the regular NOS. I don't really like the look of the 2k3. It seems to stick off your back more than a elite nos. Besides the NOS has the tuck tabs on the shoulders. Na' Cho' Cheese
  13. I think I'm going to order a new power racer for myself for hanukkah. What do you think about these designs. Secondly there have been major discussions about racers in the past. What are your views about them now. Pros/ Cons? Na' Cho' Cheese
  14. I don't have the firewire port on my computer. What can I do to firewire my camera on there. Is there some sort of adapter I can get. Help me out here please. Na' Cho' Cheese
  15. nice rig how much do they cost? is there a website? Na' Cho' Cheese
  16. what exactly are you asking? How we launch from one? Some people do poised exit from the step. That takes me some time to do so I just do poised exit from inside. I'm short enough so I can just crouch a little bit and hop sideways out of the plane and over the step. Na' Cho' Cheese
  17. Its called taking a wrap. when you evenly circle the steering lines around your hands. Making the stearing lines "shorter". Your instructor saw it so take his word. But if thats the case the DZ should shorten the steering lines so all the students won't have to take a wrap. It also *could* be the fact that its a different canopy so it behaves differently. The canopy your jumping now may have heavier toggle pressure than the one your used to jumping. You may not be getting a full flare. If this would be the case than taking a wrap isn't the ultimate solution. Get to know your canopy. but what do I know I'm not an instructor. your instructor knows best. Na' Cho' Cheese
  18. yeah dude I just use my neptune. Have you tried getting wing grippers? That really made a HUGE difference for me. Na' Cho' Cheese
  19. I have about 15 jumps on my skyflyer and 30 ws jumps all together. 165 OTD 5'9'' slowest average is 46mph slowest ever is 39mph whats your? Na' Cho' Cheese
  20. The skyflyer is farely cheap these days because they don't make them and most people are constantly "downsizing". I picked my skyflyer up for $500 with only 10 jumps, and I've found them cheaper. As soon as I got mine I added the wing grippers. I've now jumped the skyflyer with them and without them and it makes a HUGE difference. If your a flocker you can take a dock then release then easily grab the grippers again. From what I've gathered flying the GTIs and the skyflyers that the narrow stance really makes the skyflyer naturally unstable. It constantly requires attention from the pilot. Once you get it figured out though it really takes off. With my limited experience (35 wingsuit and 15 skyflyer jumps) I get it down in the 40's for average. I get out 2.5 miles at 10K. This is a really good suit. Don't think of it as substandered. For deployment its just like the gti. The arm wings don't get in the way. If I could change anything it would be a wider stance. But thats why theres the S3. Give it a try. You'll be pleasently surprised.
