The line of thought that all politicians lie is like saying all people catch colds, which is true. All people, however, don't catch pneumonia. In Trump's case, he doesn't have pneumonia. He has ebola, and he bleeds lies from every orifice.

Even if I was the most rabid Trump supporter (which I'm not), it would not keep me from wondering what he was hiding.

The jubilation with the Mueller Report is understandable but it made me recall something. When OJ was found not guilty of double murder, people (you know who you are) wept with righteous indignation because they just knew he was guilty. Never mind that the LA District Attorneys Office and the LA PD, lacking evidence for a conviction, got caught trying to frame a man who probably was guilty. Never people’s (you know who you are) silence and lack of outrage when Detective Mark Fuhrman was proven to be racist and got away with perjury. Never mind how people (you know who you are) practically danced in the street when OJ went to prison for crimes unrelated to the double murder. People we know are going to facing serious charges unrelated to Russian collusion/conspiracy. When that one’s over, there might a different group of people dancing in the street. If one of them happens to be me, well, ............never mind.

I hear you. Just the same, there are too many out there who don't really care if Trump broke the law. I have some in my own family. That bothers me the most.

I don't know about that. What better way to damage a country you hate than to not only assist in installing a clown as President, but a clown who would bring a lot of clowns with him. I believe the term for this is kakistocracy.

Just the same, a number of key people in the Trump circle lied about contacts with Russia. When people are doing the right thing, my experience has been that they don't lie about it. Just sayin'...........

By coincidence, Donald Trump and Barack Obama we’re in the same barber shop getting shaves. Both barbers finished at the same time. Trump’s barber was about to apply some fragrant aftershave when Trump yelled, “Stop! Don’t do that! Melania is going to be mad as hell if I come home smelling like the inside of a whore house.” Obama’s barber was about to apply aftershave and he said, “Go right ahead. Michelle doesn’t know what the inside of a whore house smells like.”

This was a teachable moment for Trump, especially where checks are concerned. 1. We are still a government of checks and balances. 2. If you’re going to be politically corrupt, you don’t make payoffs using checks!

I jump a Crossfire 2 129. I have now made 10 jumps on a demo JFX 104. I really wanted to demo the JFX2 104 but haven't found one available yet. The contrast between my Crossfire 2 and the JFX is striking. The JFX openings didn't snivel like the Crossfire 2 but were not hard and were are on heading. I flew conservative, straight in landings for the first few jumps in very light winds and they were faster but no problem. It really planed out nicely when I used the rear risers. Overall, it's a fun canopy and the JFX2 is supposed to be even better. I will probably be getting one.

I don't think Romney said anything that hasn't been said by members of the GOP behind closed doors when no cameras are in sight. Their complaint is that he said it in the open for all to hear.

I just watched that. Kavnanaugh made himself look like a lying weasel. It should be no secret. If Kavanaugh gets to the Court, and Trump needs one vote to spare him from a subpoena or indictment, Kavanaugh is his best bet at survival. -
I think that if John McCain had really had it in for Trump, he would have insisted that Trump attend the funeral and speak. Trump would have surely shot himself in the foot as only he can, especially if he had to follow Obama's eulogy.

Going to church does not make you a Christian. Getting drunk and passing out in a hangar does not make you a skydiver...oh, wait...nevermind. Trump was masterful in tapping into the underbelly of America. They sit in those pews too, right next to the good folks.
