A man woke up one morning with a terrible toothache. His wife said, "You need to get to the dentist right away!" The man said, "No! I'm afraid of dentists." By the middle of the day, the pain was so bad that he went to the dentist anyway. When he got to the dentist, the dentist took X-rays and told the man, "That tooth is really bad. It's got to come out right now!" He picked up a syringe with Novocain and the man screamed, "No needles! I'm scared of needles!" The dentist said Ok and picked up a cannula to give the man nitrous oxide. The man screamed again and said, "No! if something is over my mouth or nose, I'll feel like I'm going to suffocate!" The dentist said, "Can you handle pills?" The man said, "Yes." The dentist left the room for a minute and came back with two pills. He gave the pills to the man and said, "Take this Viagra." The man took the pills and said, "Wow! I didn't know Viagra was also for pain." The dentist said, "It's not.....but it'll give you something to hang on to when I pull that tooth!

At the end of the day, Donald Trump is just a private citizen and a former government employee who allegedly committed crimes. The facts will lock him up or set him free. All the people who are weeping and gnashing teeth over his indictment give me the mental image of the woman with a black eye and knocked out tooth who defends the man who just punched her in the face.

Republicans seem to be saying "WOKE" with such glee.....like they had been given permission to say the N-word without consequences.

My Senator, Marco Rubio was on a Sunday news program badmouthing how this situation was handled. Right before they cut away, he was told that there were three Chinese balloon overflights while Trump was President and nothing was revealed to the public about it. Rubio's a lucky man. He should have been called out and had his feet held to the fire.

There are 18,000 police agencies and no national standards. This needs a serious look.

This political gamesmanship has gone on for ages. We denied recon flights over Russia until Francis Gary Powers was shot down in his U-2. Russia denied missiles in Cuba until Adlai Stevenson brought out the recon photos at the United Nations. (Speaking of Adlai Stevenson, the Russians offered to help him when he ran for President. He said no. That's what Americans do.)

This is the problem those bodycams were supposed were supposed to fix. I still remember the Georgia policeman who, in 2016, recorded himself saying to a white female driver, "Don't be afraid. We only kill black people." I have a grandson who will be learning to drive in a few months. You can bet that between me and his dad, he's going to get some vital information that won't be covered in his drivers education class.

You can't find them when there's a mine field that needs clearing.

There was these two preachers who were good friends and they would ride their bicycles to church every Sunday morning. Because of where they lived, and where their churches were located, they would pass each other along the way. One Sunday morning, one of the preachers was riding his bicycle to church and he saw the other preacher approaching, but the other preacher was walking. They stopped to chat and he said, "Good morning, Reverend. Why aren't you riding your bicycle this morning? The other preacher said, "It really hurts me to say this but I think somebody at my church stole my bicycle." His friend said, "Let me tell you how to get it back. Before you begin your sermon this morning, read the Ten Commandments. When you say thou shalt not steal, the person who took your bicycle will feel so guilty, he'll give it back to you." The following Sunday, the preacher is riding his bicycle to church and he sees his friend coming from the other direction, and his friend is riding his bicycle too. They stopped to chat and he said, "Good morning, Reverend. I see you found out who stole your bicycle." The other preacher said, "No, but when I said thou shalt not commit adultery, I remembered where I left it."

Here's my situation. A month ago, I was at an event in DeLand and had malfunction with an uneventful cutaway. The main and free bag came down in a wooded area. The main canopy was eventually recovered but the free bag was lost. Before leaving DeLand, I went directly to the manufacturer of my container to see about getting a new reserve pilot chute, free bag, and RSL. I was told the items were in stock and I asked that they be shipped to my home. It took almost two weeks to get the items I was told were in stock. When I got my rig to my rigger, I found out that the reserve ripcord pin and lanyard had also been lost. When I placed an order for a new one, I was told it would be FOUR WEEKS! What is going on in the equipment industry?

With Queen Elizabeth's passing, I am reminded that she had a sense of humor. I remember a video she did with the actor Daniel Craig. In the video, he's in the role of James Bond and him and the Queen are walking down a hall in the palace. He says, "And what of Donald Trump, ma'am?" Without stopping or turning her head, she said, "Make it look like an accident, 007."

All the talk about the records, classified and unclassified, seems to center around Donald Trump but he couldn’t have pulled this off by himself. I’m a retired public school educator and one of my primary duties was test coordinator. When it came to the state wide standardized test, security was given a top priority. When the materials arrived at school, they came with packing lists. Everything had to be opened and materials had to be hand counted to make sure it matched the packing list. Discrepancies had to be reported immediately and sometimes, I found discrepancies. When test materials had to be returned, if numbers didn’t match, it could have cost me my job and there were potential criminal penalties as well. During testing, if a student got sick and vomited on their test materials, those materials had to be put in a zip lock bag and returned with the other test materials. Test materials had to be kept in a secure area at my school. I was given a room where the lock was changed. The only people who had a key to this room was the Principal, the head custodian, and me. I had to maintain a Chain of Custody Log to list the names and times that other people entered that room. Having said all that, I have some questions: 1. Did Donald Trump come up with the list of documents that were taken on his own? 2. Who was the person he dispatched to retrieve these records? 3. Who signed for the release of these records? 4. Did the request for these records raise red flags? If yes, why wasn’t it reported? 5. Who organized and packaged these records for transportation to Florida? 6. Who unpacked these records and took them to the place where they were kept? At the end of the day, if Trump’s head rolls over this, he should have plenty of company. Just my two cents.
