  1. When Mr. Mueller and his team get close to bringing this thing to a head, Trump might conclude that he needs a huge distraction. I hope he doesn't look at North Korea or Iran and decide to get "creative".
  2. I got a demo Xfire 124 and was able to make 5 jumps with it on 7/15. I am not a hardcore swooper and jump a Crossfire 2 (129). When I want a fast landing, I use the toggles rather than the risers. That being said, I really liked the Xfire. The canopy has a lot of flare power, even when making plain Jane straight in approach. I would consider getting one but not before trying a Crossfire 3 for comparison.
  3. A married skydiver and his wife had terrible arguments when he went skydiving because he would come home late. One day, before going skydiving, he promised on a stack of bibles that he wouldn't be late this time. Well, not only was he late, but he was later than he had ever been. When he walked in the house and saw the look on his wife's face, he knew he was in trouble big time. He said, "Honey, I know you're upset but before you say anything, let me tell you what happened. I didn't set out to be late on purpose. In fact, I left early but when I was half way home, I saw a car pulled over on the shoulder with the emergency flasher on. Standing by the car was a beautiful young lady. Since I am a gentleman, I stopped to see if I could help. It turned out that she had a flat tire so I changed it for her. When I was done, she offered to pay me but I wouldn't take her money. She was so grateful that she insisted that I follow her down the road to a bar so that she could at least buy me a drink. I didn't want to offend her so I said ok. We got to the bar and one drink led to another, and another, and another. Before I knew it, we ended up in a motel and I slept with her. I am so ashamed of myself and if you can find it in your heart to forgive me, I promise it will never happen again." His wife paused for a minute and said, "You asshole! You stayed for the sunset load, didn't you?"
  4. There was an old career politician who was a U.S. Senator. The state he represented had a large population of Native Americans. Every time he came up for reelection, he won without needing the Native American vote so he never cared about Native American issues or problems. The next time he came up for reelection, he was facing an opponent who was mounting a strong challenge. The old senator's advisors warned him that he was going to have to go after every possible vote so, for the first time in his political career, the old senator set up a campaign visit to the state's largest Indian reservation. On the day of his visit, he was taken to a large arena that was filled to capacity. After an introduction, he went to the podium and his speech went as follows: Senator: "Thank you for for allowing me to speak to you. The first thing want you to know is that I have always been a friend to the Indian." Audience response (loudly): "Hummah, hummah!" The old senator was confused by the response because he didn't know the Native American language but, because of the vigor of the response, he thought it was a positive thing and he continued. Senator: "If you give me your vote, I promise more and better jobs on the resevervation." Audience: "Hummah, hummah!" Senator: "Better schools!" Audience: "Hummah, hummah!" Senator: "Better healthcare!" Audience: "Hummah, hummah!" Senator: "More services for the elderly!" Audience: "Hummah, hummah!" The speech went on like this for another 30 minutes. The old senator finished, thanked the audience, and sat down. One of the elders of the reservation went to the podium and spoke: "We thank you for coming to us with your powerful words. Since this is your first visit to the reservation, we want to take you on a tour before you leave. The first place we want you see is where we keep the livestock and our prize bulls. When we get there, be careful. Do not step in the hummah!" Note: I remembered this old joke as I watched Trump address the Polish people and their response.

  6. We may be giving Trump too much credit. I think he just put his name on Bannon's homework.
  7. Maybe she didn't mean it in her heart.

  9. We did that when Trump beat Clinton Hey Rush! Silence is golden.
  10. Enough about Trump. We need to make sure the constitution isn't getting pissed on.
  11. Or maybe those were Kellyanne Conway's files of excuses she hasn't used yet.
  12. I was wondering who got sent on the early morning run to Office Depot to get all those manila folders with blank paper.
  13. I have five little grandsons. They will get older and one day read about the character of President DJT. I would be ashamed to tell them that I supported him.
  14. you cant even see the lies in your own posts anymore Was this a lie or the truth? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwakV5fWIKY
  15. What's it going to take to get to the bottom of this, subpoenas, search warrants, and depositions under oath? Hey! Maybe that's not a bad idea!
  16. I can. However, throughout this thread you are advocating removal of regulations; you know, those regs that make it 'done right.' Jerry Baumchen In a perfect world, companies can be trusted to not put dollars ahead of doing what is right. It's like our BSR's. Some might seem petty or unnecessary but they can frequently be traced back to an incident where someone was injured, killed, or simply had the crap scared out of them.

  18. This has nothing to do with politics. Character, integrity, class, and empathy mean a lot to me. A leader of this country should be the one with high marks in these areas. I have young grandchildren who will grow up to read about this period in their history books. I have no doubt that in time, we will learn things about our president elect that we don't know now, and it won't be good. When my grandchildren get older and read about this, they will wonder how anyone could have even thought about making this man our president. I am glad that I won't have to tell them I was one of them.
  19. If I wasn't able to think logically, I would have voted for DJT. I find it incredibly hysterical that you and others here seem to think that Donald Trump has enough power to do that type of damage to this country. And then you say you can think logically? Somehow that doesn't jive God bless you brother! I admire your energy and tenacity required to deal with the whining, intellectualizing, socialist, liberals posting here. I read this forum almost daily and I just can't find the motivation to respond to their carryings on. On the morning of 9 Nov I felt such a relief, a lightening of my soul that there was no argument left in me. By divine intervention America has been given another chance. The greatest manifest evil this country has known since Andrew Jackson or Woodrow Wilson has been subdued. I pray that we take full advantage of this God given opportunity. So, you think HE would have picked DJT?
  20. If I wasn't able to think logically, I would have voted for DJT.
  21. That is called a Pyrrhic victory. (Rush will have to look it up.)
  22. The party in the Kremlin might be a bigger and better affair than DJT's inauguration.
  23. I think his biggest test will be his relationship with the truth.
