  1. You mean tax incentives (cuts)for businesses? That's corporate welfare. (Heresy) I interpreted incentives as offering prizes for being the first to accomplish something, like whoever can land the first person on Mars and bring them back safely wins X amount of dollars. 2. Title of thread: CNN Poll, Bush and Civil Rights I shouldn't laugh, as I've hijacked my share of threads, but you have to see the humor here. This sounds very interesting. Can you expound? Your other ideas were good, also, IMO. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  3. That line is clearly from South Park the movie. Try and stay topical! Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  4. I would love to see one big free for all at the end, especially with ranked voting (while we're on the subject of election reform). Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!

  9. I'm pretty sure you mean the 2nd amendment: The first amendment deals with different rights we used to have. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  10. Geez. Now the Bushites are going to want to colonize France. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  11. Now THAT'S some funny shit!!! The original was good too: "A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon it adds up to real money.", Senator Everett Dirksen (R, Illinois) I have to say, Billvon's version was a thousand times funnier. 12. Of course impeachments are different than criminal and civil courts. Just like state courts are different than federal courts or local courts. But they are all part of America's system of justice. Why is that so hard for you to understand? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  13. Just because I used the words does not mean I made such a claim. I suggest you (re)read the post. For that matter, you should re-read the thread. I posted an article in response to Rushmc's claim that: The article I posted brought up many things of significance. Using logic, in order for anyone to successfully defend rushmc's claim, all of the things brought up in the article must be refuted. Otherwise there are still some things of significance that happened with regard to election fraud. (Hint "some things" does not equal "nothing.") Personally, I am still waiting for anyone to refute a single claim made by the RS article. Sundevil claimed some points could be refuted, yet declined to do so himself. So, if you are through demonstrating your ability to misquote me, feel free to refute a point in the article. If you can refute all the points, then it can even be conceded that there was nothing of any significance found with respect to election fraud. But please stop bitching to me about how the task is too daunting. Or maybe you should go check out the word games at yahoo groups. Perhaps they will offer you a lesson in logic. 14. And what you seem to not understand is that impeachment is the first step in the judicial process for a sitting President. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  15. Care to link to the post in which I claimed the article is completely without merit? That would be here, I believe... Your belief is indeed incorrect. I did not claim the article is completely without merit. I did point out what was necessary in order for such a claim to be made. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!

  18. Clinton was subjected to the justice system, as dictated by the US Constitution. He was impeached and acquitted. It is that simple. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  19. Like those who think we should be impressed that after only six years the Dow is finally slightly higher than it was in 2000? Coming into the job at the start of the Clinton recession, with the added cost and turmoil of 9/11 and the Iraq war? And the fact that despite all that, the Dow is at record levels? Damn skippy. Clinton was able to deal with crises (poorly, but better than Bush) without causing such a detrimental effect on the economy. Bush on the other hand likes to think he has done a good job in the economy when the Dow finally returns to the point at which it was when he took power. He claims success when thing aren't as bad as they were only a couple years after he took office. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  20. Actually, Sundevil claimed some points could be refuted, but failed to offer any sources that actually refuted said points. You merely tried to sidestep logic. As I said, feel free to refute the points of the article, but without refuting all the points you cannot claim the article is completely without merit. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!

  22. And the thread has finally been justified! Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  23. What I am saying is that Bush's guy and Clinton did the exact same thing wrong - they both lied under oath and obstructed justice. Clinton didn't do time for it. IT seems everyone else IS doing time for it. Clinton was impeached and was acquitted. Are you saying the legal process is broken? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  24. Here you are incorrect. I offered an article with many examples and many cited sources. You claimed the article had no merit (paraphrased). In order for that to be true, you must be able to demonstrate that it has NO merit by disproving ALL the points. If you cannot disprove all the points, you must logically concede that the article could have SOME merit. Your argument is basically saying: Some items A do not have property B, therefore no items A have property B. This is illogical. Nevermind the fact that no one in this thread has disproven any of the points made in the article. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
