Topless rodeo jumps with tit docks Seriously, I think that rodeo formations are great! We have been doing a lot of dedicated rodeo weekends at Skydive Spaceland in Houston. So, let me know if you are interested in joining us sometime. The goal is a four way topless rodeo diamond surfing down a puffy on a sunset jump! Purple Mike P.S. I also want to see more vertical formations like we did at Jumptown recently! -
No, Crystal saw it and we showed it to everyone that evening. It was definitely the deployment altitude. It may upset him to see this posted here, but I really am concerned about his low pulls. If he continues to pull that low, it will eventually catch up with him. Then his many friends and family will be left to pick up the pieces. Be safe Justin and please pull higher. In case there is some confusion about seeing two purple PF wingsuits. I am flying my Vampire 3 with a yellow PF logo directly over the base. Lurch is flying my Phantom 2 with a black PF logo. Purple Mike

I ordered a V3 two days ago knowing fully well what the wait time is. I have no problems with wait time or paying extra. I have a V1 and a V3, and I will wait for a V4 when PF thinks that it is ready. I would rather have it done right the first time. My V3 fits precisely around my calves to allow for perfect tension when I max it out. My Phantom 2 fits great, but my V3 is the most custom tailored suit that I have flown. Of course, the sooner that I have one, then the sooner it will be in Parachutist ... which isn't a bad thing for PF Purple Mike

I always bring both arms in at pull time. I'm usually in a track when I pull, but not full flight. I teach people to arch when pulling, just like Chuck taught me One trick I use to clear the wing is to pivot my wrist and make sure that my thumb is behind the gripper. Purple Mike

That must be something that Todd posted. If we have enough solid flyers, then maybe we will make a couple of attempts. However, I would rather make multiple rodeo jumps and beat the current Flock University docked challenge Purple Mike

I don't think that there is an official USPA TX state wingsuit record. I'd rather work on docked formations and rodeos, but we will see who shows up Purple Mike

The puffies are starting to build around 8:00 am already, so I am sure that we will have plenty to surf around next month. We have a skyvan in addition to the otter to make some great multiple rodeo jumps. The emphasis will be on puffies, rodeos, and docking. Unfortunately, the winds were too high for the rodeo girls on Saturday, but we had some fun docking and made seven jumps. In particular, Nick Wright made a nice foot dock on a three way line (Gui, Purple, Cate). Sunday the winds were high enough to stop the tandems for several hours; however, Brian Voils did get a foot dock on me that he held for the entire jump. That was around his 65th wingsuit jump I hope to have better weather and a skyvan June 18-20! See you then, Purple Mike
