I had Ocean Waves for several years. IMO the best if your going to spend a great deal of time off shore looking into blue water or searching the distance under a strong sun. Ocean Waves also have excellent polarization which I dislike my Gatorz lack. It makes a big difference. Protecting my eyes is important to me.... but honestly, I do it for the "coolness factor"

Alcohol is also not allowed adjacent to the airport? Having never been there I do not know the layout on the ground.

How about me...I can't fly head down worth a shit, should I quit too? Not at all. -
If you reached 160 on exit my guess would be you went head extremely low in a steep dive, which I would venture a guess also blew your velcro covers open. The low fall rate speed is because you went to your belly. I have used an altitrack for over 250 jumps, 75 mph is extremely slow. I doubt that reading. Based on the graph your fall rate was never constant which would reflect a stable flat track. Good effort but you need more stable tracking jumps. Keep trying. I average 106 in a flat track, can get it as fast as needed. 126 is normal for me if I need a swooping track to get to the lower leader, when I stop the track I'll reduce my fall rate to about 95-100 before dumping. Yesterday I exited from 13,300, dumped at 3000 and the tracking dive lasted 71 seconds. I don't have the altitrack software to upload my data however. My longest flat track time-wise was 84 seconds. I do wish I had the software to show you the graph. I always wear it ion my left hand. I see no need to put it on the ankle. What is important is the degree of difference in speeds. 160-75-112 for your tracking jump does not show a great deal of stable control. Try to maintain a constant fall-rate speed in the 105-115 range for the entire tracking jump.

skydiving is not the sport for you. -
Bring a stash bag for your canopy unless you want to pack it in the field where you land. I had to climb a number of barbed wire fences to get to the road. I'd do it again in a second. I loved it. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1988660600239112596&hl=en

My Vector3 manual doesn't tell me to stow the line with the pin. This is how I have been doing it without a problem for over 350 jumps now.
-
I made one a couple weeks ago. It was awesome - I should have jumped with a stash bag. I had to climb 3 brabed wire fences to get out to a main road.

Everyone smoking your cigarettes Chuck?

on the video, you can tell that the student didn't see the plane, but the instructors saw, and their jaws dropped, while they were looking at the cameraman! the plane was really close to them. Where is the video...?

yeah right Peter, how was the hooker? -
I think you are probably right. That plane is level so I'd say it's cruising. What do they cruise at...35k feet maybe? Even if the plane was at the right altitude for that to work would skydivers be anywhere near that area? I'm thinking the same thing...at cruising alti for a commercial jet which we don't jump at..furthermore, where is the camera man? obviously not the head down jumper who's leg was caught in the pic..or he'd be bent in half....NOT! Crosskeys is on approach to Philadelphia, Diverdriver knows this very well. It's been discussed many times before, on this forum. I've only read the comments briefly. I've never seen the footage. A couple weeks back I watched from the ground at Sebastian as a G4 went through jump run at close to 300 kts with jumpers away at 7k. Cynthia's father Chris has video of that jump. The jet passed above, yet under and between the solo student who followed him. The lens he was shooting didn't capture the identifying numbers of that plane as clearly as shown is this picture. The foot in the above picture is Pancake's. Ask him if it is real or photoshop.

May have been taken over Skydive Dallas. That DZ is well known for the flybys of commercial jets flying to DFW. It is my understanding it was shot over Crosskeys during a tandem. The foot in question is a well known staff instructor.

Do you know that as a fact??

If Peter is without his crackberry and the several other cellphones he carries it is the end of the world as we know it.....or he may be in jail or tied up to some hookers bed. -
it may have been posted before. I'm not certain.

shortly after I booked my first tandem using this wonderful service called skyride

I'm glad you're ok, fucking crazies come out of nowhere nowadays. A $10k bond amount is not a lot (thats only 1,000 cash to a bail bondsman) for stabbing a person so I wasn't sure. Again glad you're ok, I don't know John but I do hope he doesn't show up at other DZ's in the area, Lake Wales, Seb, Deland, no one needs to be around this guy.

...or for other purposes.

Com'on, post a picture of the wound. What are we talking about here? Did he cut yaa or did he stab yaa?
