You may have felt the very same way about your first AFF skydive. -
Someone just tried to break into my fucking house
JeepDiver replied to NWFlyer's topic in Speakers Corner
Frankly seeking solace & comfort on the internet has nothing to do with disrespecting a decision you've clearly made by having a poster once again mention something you have intellectually excluded . I would protect myself with a handgun. My choice. It's simple for me to use and effective. My choice is not disrespecting you. Chastise me all you want. Yet once again mentioning something you don't want to hear has nothing to do with disrespecting you. Creating all the barriers and elaborate security arrangements you need to formulate a plan of self protection and defense is wise. Instead of viewing this bumbler for what he truly may be. A drug addict strung out on heroin or crack looking for his next fix deluded out of his mind more than likely armed with a knife of some kind. You need to worry about that guy not respecting your wishes. Not the person sitting here wondering why you didn't post for a period of 1.5+ hours after an attempted home break-in/invasion. Nonetheless glad you are ok and taking measures to protect yourself as best you see fit. -

Ok, if the burglar returns later tonight post a new thread in bonfire, we will be here for you. More than likely that crack addict is breaking into another home right now so I'm confident you'll be ok. -
Have you ever gone into someone's home that was really filthy and...

You should buy a handgun to protect yourself. -
Your post is rather vague. Without know what you are doing it is hard to understand the difference in the employee/independent contractor relationship you are seeking an answer for.

I was reading a news story on CBSnews.com Anyone see this news story? http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/11/17/national/main3517133.shtml?source=mostpop_story -
... and then there's Jack Daniels. Mine is still madly in love with me too. I get such pleasure from tormenting her, leading her on, and then getting to hurt her all over again.

I question the objectively of a sponsored skydiver regarding gear. Another reference about Vigil/Vigil2 was made of a well known jumper working for a well known manufacturer who is also sponsored by Vigil in a prior thread. A friend of mine just bought an Argus. The rigger who strongly recommended it to this newbie jumper is sponsored by Argus. Is there a connection? Objectively goes out the window when dealing with a spokesmen or salesmen who receives compensation from a manufacturer.

A proven track record of performance is more important to me than a bit of cash deprecated over 12 years. But that's just me.

It has already been posted on basejumper.com and you posted it there. -
Bush (Senior) Skydives again
JeepDiver replied to shropshire's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I would like to see the current President keep the family tradition alive. Although I doubt a sitting President would be "allowed" to sky dive. -

All great replies!! or Because your girlfriend thinks it cool. -
Gentleman Jack is better than Marker Marks although Makers Mark is better than Jack Daniels #8. I prefer Irish whiskey.

and here is the link to how contributions are requested and handled. http://www.bpa.org.uk/skydive/contributions.html If you wish to subscribe http://www.bpa.org.uk/skydive/subscribe.html Notice the difference between how Skydive the Mag website requests member contributions. and the Parachutist website. http://www.uspa.org/publications/parachutist/online_index.htm Which one is performing the job of publishing a member magazine better...? That is all I am asking and requesting discussion. I feel it can be improved upon IMHO.

Ovulating strippers make bigger tips Strippers looking to shake their moneymakers most profitably may need only swing to the beat of their menstrual cycles. In a revealing study, University of New Mexico researchers (three altruistic guys) recruited 18 subjects (scantily clad women dancers) to log their work shifts, earnings and menstrual cycles (phone numbers, too?) on a Web site for two months, or about 5,300 lap dances. The naked truth: participants scored $335 per five-hour shift while ovulating compared with $260 per shift during the luteal phase after ovulation and $185 while menstruating. The dancers' scientifically gyrating pelvises provided the first direct evidence for human estrus—the equivalent of a baboon's bright red rump—the group reported in Evolution & Human Behavior. (Evol. Hum. Behav.) http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?articleID=9668695D-E7F2-99DF-342C3B954158E8E2&chanID=sa026

I am aware of this. unnecessary, but thanks for offering a positive solution of some kind. My computers senor indicates that your reply is shorter than the post your replying to. Personally I feel your trying to be helpful however. Anyone out there. Pick up a copy of Skydive the Mag by the British Parachute Association. Take a look at it's contents. PARACHUTIST can be improved upon with out being so critical of the hard work that is put into the publishing and editing of our (USPA members) current magazine.
-
Yes. The publisher, the editor and the managing editor specifically since they are the ones tasked to do so. The look has been re-vamped yet the content remains the same although it has been improved, thankfully. Let's say the job is not finished IMO. Here is a positive idea, lets find the best magazine out there, improve upon it and make the USPA publication PARACHUTIST the BEST. Is there anything wrong with that? I'm not going to do the job, it is not my job, considering the suggestions of others unhappy with the product is a way of making a product better. I feel my point is valid. The vast majority of members out there are just that, normal fun jumping members. I welcome the newbies always. Let's include them a little more. They buy the gear, the gadgets, and the lift tickets too.

Good luck! I want this threat to be all about me. I'm thinking of going from my 210 to a 150 and be cooler than I am now. That would put me at 1.46:1
