I'm assuming that means you will be away from use for a while. I'll miss you. Sending good wishes your way for an excellent adventure. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Kind of depends. Are you asking me in person? Or do you want to ask my for a written online answer? Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

In a public FB group anyone can find and read the posts, but only members can post. Members can either be approved by anyone, or only by the admins. Admins can revoke anyone's membership, or just delete posts. It's possible to keep a lid on it, but it's inevitable that some people will be unhappy. Just ask the mods here! Bullshit. What's really bad for them is someone else being in power. It is as simple as that. It would not matter who the D nominee was, they would still be the terrible enemy that must be avoided at all cost. It is the same every election, only the names change. Power is real, it is meaningful and it is the only goal that matters. Power is money, power is love, power is worth any price. I'm probably much more part time than you. And I'm not a master rigger, so I send major repairs out. I keep paper records of all repacks and service, filed by customer name. I do this so I can pull out the sheet and look at any trends or any past notes I've made. Any further notes just go on the back side. My system would not work for a larger full time loft. But I have in the neibourhood of 30 regular customers, a few passing through, and 15 DZ rigs to look after. It adds up to about 70 a year. It works for me. Ryan sells out. In the end individual Rs have to make a decision about right and wrong. After months of pointing out that Trump is wrong the lure of the remote possibility of power is enough to make most of them do what they know is wrong. Probably they are calculating their place in the party in the aftermath of the Trump debacle that is coming. Do you go with party loyalty in the face of what you know is wrong? Or stand on principle? For a while it looked like Ryan was one of the few with principles. But in the end, he tested the wind and just fell into line. The Republican Party has managed the nearly impossible task of making the Democrats look good. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Thanks, I was able to work with that as a start. I ended up with this out of it. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Ok, this is mostly laziness on my part. I'm looking for a form to use or modify and then use for rig repack and inspection records and to give the customer. Maybe someone has created one they would like to share? I'm thinking of something that would print onto one side of an 8.5 X 11 inch sheet. But hell, beggars can't be choosers. I'm not sure which thread to post this idea in. I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to think of it. What if Despicable Donald's rise is part of the prophesied End Times? Maybe Christians will vote for him to bring on the Trump. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

What? Are you a digital dinosaur? FB is small device friendly, and perfect for short, rude answers and miscommunication. This forum is only good for in depth discussion and understanding, and it has a history of at least a modicum of politeness and decorum. Where is the fun in that? More Green failure, corruption, and tax payer waste.

That does bring up the question of what would be happening now without the boom in gas production. I think we would still be working to reduce coal use, but it would be happening more slowly by necessity. Ironically the current abundance of natural gas is probably reducing the speed of our move to renewables. One thing is for sure, we are not willing to go without energy to reduce CO2 emissions. We are only moderately willing to pursue reduction in use through efficiency. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free. -
Arguments for (or against) the existence of God

Also true. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free. -
I know. I've considered that too. But for one thing, Clinton has been under attack all her long career. The haters will hate, but it's hard to see her falling further. Trump on the other hand is just beginning to taste the kind of scrutiny a Presidential candidate faces. I'm betting there are bomb shells being held back till after the nomination, waiting to explode over his head. That and I have more faith in the American people to accept that Despicable Donald could be elected. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. That is very true. And on a pure cost basis coal will likely remain the cheapest and most available fossil fuel. Hopefully forever. God help us if we ever manage to burn all of the coal available. The goal is to use less of it, slow the growth of mining it, and then begin to decrease it. The true cost of coal consumption is the destroyed health of miners, especially underground miners, environmental degradation from mountaintop removal mining, open pit mining, and ash storage. Then there is the damage to health from particulate inhalation. Scrubbers can ameliorate that one, but the cost of doing so is high enough to cut into the profitability of burning it. Then there is the fact that of all our energy sources, coal releases the most CO2 into the atmosphere. Deadenders think that is alright, but they are out numbered and out voted by citizens who are paying attention to the facts. So all in all, the fact that we have plenty of coal reserves is irrelevant. The era of King Coal is over. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Yes, eventually that and some screwdriver leverage worked. Vice grips helped after I got the edge bent. Tools with longer handles would be helpful as force multipliers. But I was hoping someone here would have an elegant solution. Deyan's has some promise, so I ordered the tool. I am cheap, but I also like to have good tools. I use nippers on brass grommets, but I need bigger ones if I hope to bend those stainless ones. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

It's possible I was using the wrong cutter. It's been a while, I don't remember what I used. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
-
I tried that once. I do not recommend it. The friction from the cutter made enough heat to ruin all the fabric and the stiffener. I had to send the container out for a new flap. Deyan sent me a PM explaining that you can cut the washer in two places with those cable cutters and then just pull the grommet out. I ordered a pair, they are Felco C7 cutters. Looks like a good cable cutter. But how would I use it to remove a grommet? Will the jaws fit inside and then go around the edge maybe? Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
