Any weight with whom? None with you obviously. None in court obviously. But in politics each voter will decide how much weight it has. Again, it's a political fight, not a legal fight. If she is called to testify under oath it may be a different matter. But until then all of this is just talk with no weight at all. Now the new name seems to be the: "Redacteds" Love it. Only a matter of time now. The end is near. And just to add to my pleasure, Breitbart is losing their shit over it. https://www.breitbart.com/sports/2014/08/23/washington-redskins-washington-post/ Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. So, poison would potential solve both the rodent and the fox problems?

Don't forget: 3. Clinton did it first. And, don't forget Ted Kennedy killed Mary Jo Kopechne and became the "Lion of the Senate." Awesome, Bill will be so proud of you. Gone all the way from "Obama did it first" to "Kennedy did it first". Well done Ron. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Mission: Impossible helping skydiving?
gowlerk replied to peek's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I think that 2 decades of tandem jumping with heavy advertising and Groupons etc has made the market penetration of jumping as deep as it can go. Everyone who is likely to consider it has heard about it and knows that it is available to them. Just like a ride at a theme park. The business is mostly at a steady level in a mature market. Discounts and specials may increase the level for a short time, but they also cheapen the product. -
Yup. The game's been changed now. As if it wasn't nasty enough already. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

She was having a bad dream. It's because she's a woman and at 15 years old her hormones tricked her. She just can't help remembering being held down and struggling to stop him from undressing her. Women are like that you know. God bless their little hearts and minds. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Behind restaurants you really don't like, perhaps? I've pondered making a ratapult for the area outside near the car. A long tube with a one way flapper door that lets them get in (with some peanut butter or something as bait) then a compressed air tank to launch them a few hundred feet into the canyon. What stopped me was the valve; you need a very large diameter valve that opens very fast under remote control. Of course the neighbors might start to wonder. You could use a modified potato cannon. But it might be considered "cruel and unusual punishment". Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

After finding at the DZ that nylon webbing becomes excellent nesting material when chewed by a mother mouse my policy is a death sentence to any that I can catch indoors. They are vermin. No mercy in my heart to them at all. None. I use traps and bait stations and watch carefully for signs of them. If I see that bait has been taken I double up on my counter measures.

Maybe not. But it doesn't need to be. It only needs to give two R Senators enough political reason to decide that in this moment of "me too" it's too risky to vote for him. It's not a legal issue at all. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

At the bottom line of that study done for the DOE. The conclusions: The very best they could come up with is a vague statement that a polygraph is better than random chance and "below perfection". That is as sugar coated a statement as I've ever seen. It is nearly meaningless. Despite looking at all the studies they could not agree on any number for accuracy at all. So they gave the DOE, who was paying for it as much as they could. I do not see how anyone could read this report and come to any conclusion different from that of the APA. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Polygraphs measure anxiety. Nothing else. In that aspect the theory is correct. But that leaves it up to a person to interpret just what the anxiety means. The very long report you link to was done for people who may be considered to have a dog in the fight. Even so it provides little reassurance they are good for anything except giving the population a false sense of security. I will restate that the APA, the actual relevant professional body in America does not support the use of polygraphs. Because as far as they can determine, they don't work. And there is no good reason to think they work. With a reported accuracy just a little better than random chance, and even then only in the most carefully controlled tests with the best examiners, the use of polygraph tests will and does result in real harm being done to innocent people and little protection to the rest of us. Where and how? No one has ever shown in any objective way that they work. Not ever. People get nervous just being questioned. Everyone is different and the operators use subjective techniques. It's junk science. The American Psychological Association position is: http://www.apa.org/research/action/polygraph.aspx Some would argue that psychology is not science either. Polygraphs are misused so often that they should be outlawed as investigative tools. Just using one is misusing it by it's very nature. We have no better methods, so this gets used because it's all we have. That is not really a good enough reason. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. This is pretty much proof that you are correct and that there is no good reason to put any faith in polygraph results. I would rate them just slightly below the reliability of an experienced psychic with a crystal ball. At least the psychic has proven experience reading people. It is NOT science if it is not reproducible. It is merely a tool of intimidation. And it is often misused to the point that it should never be used in law enforcement. A polygraph does not mean squat. It is 20th century witchcraft. It is a stage prop in an interrogation to scare people into confessing. Throw him into the water. If he floats, he is liar. If he sinks, he's innocent. Or, just do the honourable American thing. Waterboard him until he tells the truth. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. He got a special investigation and was impeached. That's nothing like getting the benefit of the doubt. There were a few other allegations from before he became POTUS. Not just of affairs, but at least one rape victim. There is strong reason to believe at least some of them. He would never have been elected or nominated if they were known at the time. It was during the period when women mostly just kept quiet about being abused by powerful men. Like until very recently. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Clinton_sexual_misconduct_allegations Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Well, there is that other stuff. Hound dog Billy got away with some stuff that he really should have done time for. No one listened to the victims at the time though. That stuff is not proved, but I've heard enough now that I believe most of it really happened. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

I agree that the actions of a 17 year old should be looked upon with more tolerance than those of an adult. But Lewinski was not forced to do anything against her will. Huge difference there. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Speaking of spineless politicians, it seems there is a new syndrome noted in medicine. https://gomerblog.com/2015/04/elected-officials/ Abdominal jaundice, gelatinous vertebrae, & microorchidism are all involved. That's the bad part about the reports of people removing papers from his desk before he can sign them. Now he is onto that trick. I've trucked that route as well. I would also highly recommend it. Do you have your return mapped out yet? If not, and exploring is your thing, go to Durango. Take US550 south from I-70 and just go there. Or find another way to Durango and go north back to Grand Junction. It has the most spectacular high mountain pass I've ever been on. Switch backs, narrow road, (but not too narrow) and steep drops. In the San Juan Range. And yes, the road through Rocky Mountain Park looks awesome. I'll never get to truck through there though.
