The fact is real ventilators are complex machines with fine levels of control. Most of the hero produced rush made machines are nothing but simple pumps that will do for a short time in a pinch but are not safe to use on a person for more than a few hours. Elon Musk is almost as full of himself as Trump is. (Although with far more to justify his self promotion.)

My argument is that they have done very little. Not that two wrongs make a right. But 100 wrongs are greater than 1 wrong.

That's a nice way of saying nothing. Antifa does seem to me to be a bunch of over the top drama queens. And it's true that any people in gangs or groups can get carried away and do stupid harmful things. But this very loose knit protest group is pretty mild compared to the real damage and killing done by some of the various flavours of right wing idiots.

My reasoning includes a strong central government. And even if the figures you are using can be verified, which I am having a hard time doing, those high population areas are well spread out. 3% of the continental US is still 111,188 sq miles. The whole of Iceland is only 40,000 sq miles. The scale of the problem does not compare.
