Those tweets are made for two reasons. First, it keeps everyone talking about him, and secondly it is an attempt to change the subject away from what is important. In other words, it is just another troll. It works here and it works in the larger word as well.

I'm pretty sure that corrupt racket of a group does nothing complementary. -

Little 'ole me? Well gee, thanks! -
Yes, shutting down the incredibly covid-19 risky act of strapping yourself to a stranger for a thrill ride is not the same thing as "shutting down the economy". I can tell you the thinking here in my Canadian prairie DZ. 7 out of 8 of our TIs are currently willing to saddle up next week when phase two re-opening starts. And given the very low rate of Covid-19 in these parts it is not unreasonable at the moment. But most of the skydiving world is not as isolated as we are. That 1 in 8 that is saying no thanks is me. I am a part timer who drives a truck into the US one week on, and one week off. I am exempt from the 14 day self quarantine rule, but I am supposed to make an effort to social distance myself because of my travel.

Probably because so many prepay these days. In the days when we sold the jumps individually the drop out rate was the vast majority of students.

I am sure you will be greatly missed.

I love Rob. -
Silly Americans. America can not ever make mail-in voting work because America does not have elections. Only States have elections. The only election America holds is the one where the Electoral College meets. I suppose THAT could be made into a mail -in.

It remains to be seen how well it spreads during the summer. Most of the large scale spreading events have involved people indoors in poorly ventilated rooms. I'm thinking that people outdoors will not get it nearly as much leading to even more of a false sense of security. Followed by an explosion of infection growth in the fall. It does not appear to be going away anytime soon, but human discipline is waning. I'm still hoping to avoid it long enough for a vaccine, but I can only be so careful with also driving one week and helping to run a DZ the next.

Why would anyone leave KC for Omaha? Have you ever been to Omaha? -
Hoards of poor brown people voting. People who they have worked so hard at suppressing for so long.

There IS a problem with global warming... it stopped in 1998

I like that logic. -
The first one now will later be last, for the times they are a changing.

My point is basically that anyone capable of supporting Trump despite his obvious flaws is likely also capable of believing in the Q conspiracy. The "underground back channel information" thing is complete nonsense given that is is in wide circulation.
-
No surprise there. It’s the same group of voters that support Trump. One set of lies is no worse than the other.

I'm not sure exactly what he has been typing into this forum lately. But I'm guessing that he is pumping out enough hot gasses to at least power a moped for a few miles!

‘Jane Roe’ Says Turn to Anti-Abortion Activism Was ‘All an Act’

Until Dr. Morgentaler opened a clinic in Winnpeg, girls looking for an abortion went over the border to Grand Forks ND for the procedure. -
‘Jane Roe’ Says Turn to Anti-Abortion Activism Was ‘All an Act’
gowlerk replied to kallend's topic in Speakers Corner
It shouldn't matter why she wants an abortion. It is none of anyone's business. So it just completely sucks that she felt the need to lie. It also completely sucks that she felt the best way to gain sympathy was to claim to have been raped by black men. That says something deeply disturbing about the society she was trying to survive in. -
Aren't you worried someone will burn it down to prevent it from spreading the disease?

You have pretty much covered it.

Fundamental differences that cannot be overcome
gowlerk replied to funjumper101's topic in Speakers Corner
The roots of this problem are in the history of the USA. It is a hangover of slavery and the division of society by race. It is the same thing that causes the huge prison population in the United States. It’s the same problem that exists in other countries like Brazil and Venezuela. Taking care of the bottom rung of society means giving assets and support to those inferior people who just plain don’t deserve it. -
A 4 quart Rubbermaid jug with some alcohol based windshield washer fluid as a deodorant added to it. Emptied once a day or so an appropriate place. Plastic bags are also something I’m intimately familiar with. I would advise everyone not to go digging through the garbage in rest areas or truckstops. Trucking is a tough business, you gotta do what you gotta do. Manitoba has had no new cases for five days straight. I’m doing my best to make sure I’m not the one who brings it home. Now you know, you probably didn’t want to!
