    The easiest way to get to heaven is to follow Kennism, the religion of Ken. Kennists believe that everyone goes to heaven, but our place in heaven is determined by how well we treated others during our lifetime. Kennism only has one rule.     The last sentence blames the US for the much larger than should be supply of killing machines available to criminals in Canada. The mass murder was not an ordinary run of the mill gun crime. It could have been committed with or without the US procured semi-automatic weapons. Canada is not a nation that bans guns, it is a nation with gun control policies that are hard make effective with a large nation of little to no gun control for a neighbour. I do not blame the US for any specific crime. I do blame the US for what it does, to both Canada and Mexico. Which is flood the black market with illegal weapons.

    That's really the crux of the question for me. Some people feel it is an formal organization that you join. Other people feel it is more an outlook or viewpoint. I'm pretty sure nearly everyone here is against facism. I'm really asking how people view "antifa". Personally I see it as a viewpoint.

    For instance, in the case of the recent Nova Scotia mass murders, the shooter had in his possession a total of 5 weapons. All but one of them are believed to have been acquired by him in the USA and smuggled into Canada. He did not have a firearm acquisition permit. Canadian criminals who desire killing machines are well supplied with an abundant supply courtesy of our well armed neighbours.

None of this is really relevant to the fact that he was murdered.

    During the late 60's and early 70's there was a great amount of near hatred directed at the police by many young people. There were slogans tossed around that I would not repeat these days. I hope this kind of animosity never returns, but these are the kind of actions that could lead to it.

    You should probably ask this question in a paraglider forum. This is not something that happens to skydiving canopies. Tension knots do happen with our gear during deployments, but not mid-flight. As a sport parachute rigger, I could only speculate on possible reasons. There are similarities in the canopies used in these sports, but there are also great differences.

    This was and is inevitable. The virus is not going away. There will be hot spots as we slowly adapt to the new reality. Until this thing has an effective vaccine or most of us are exposed it will move through the world like a smouldering fire. Population centres will be very vulnerable to having their hospitals go through periods of being overwhelmed. I don't think of it as opening up too soon, but rather opening up too widely. But there will be a large element of randomness and plain old luck as well.
