The last we had one it was easy to tell that the poster was several people working in shifts. The level of English skill would shift from day to day along with the general intelligence of the posts. That was of course during the Russian efforts leading up to the 2016 election. At least one of them had a some knowledge of skydiving though. This poster has not yet shown any that I noticed before I blocked him from my feed. I'm not sure what is going on here now. It is more likely to be a real disgruntled American idiot this time.

Corrections Canada started vaccinating some federal prisoners Jan. 8. There was a small ripple of protest I saw on FB, but it died quickly when people started pointing out how vulnerable they and their guards are.

There is no advantage to ZP in a reserve because it is seldom deployed and therefore does not become porous quickly like a main does. On the other hand ZP is difficult to pack as neatly as we like to pack our reserves and it is bulkier which is undesirable.

Precision made a Raven -MZ for a while. It had a ZP topskin only. It was thought that would be a best of both worlds compromise. Also, as you know Ravens were also sold as mains. I have had the distinct displeasure of struggling to pack a Raven -MZ into a couple of reserve containers. I sold one cheap on the internet far away and made the customer who had one get rid of it.

Fire risk from EVs is a real and fairly well studied thing. It has been judged overall to be just slightly less risky than the risk from gasoline powered models. They stick them in the back of a closet and forget about them. When they die their children deal with it like all the other crap that needs to be thrown out. There are a few collectors and this is in nice shape, but seriously it is just an old useless obsolete curiosity at this point. And I do know what you mean about hard to throw away. I once had a similar rig pass through my possession. If I remember correctly I sold it for one or two hundred dollars. Probably on Ebay, but possibly on one of the FB skydive gear sites.

Rush may have been sweet as pie in person to those who knew him. And those people may legitimately grieve him. To the world at large he made his living and his calling being a complete fucking asshole. No one should be the least surprised that those he loved to make hate him do hate him and are glad to see him gone. And from what I know of him and his habits a long period of suffering through lung cancer was appropriate.
