  1. I would suggest you not jump a rig that has not been used, and I assume not repacked, for a few years. If you do jump such a rig the danger is then real.

Yes, and the price to be paid now is going to be so much higher than it could have been.

Russia is newly aggressive, Britain has left the EU, Germany is stepping up militarily in a way not seen since its defeat in 1945. The western world is seeing the biggest changes in my lifetime. The security arrangements of Europe are about to undergo a huge upheaval. That has never been good news.

Now there is a confirmed FOX fatality in Ukraine. https://www.cnn.com/2022/03/15/media/fox-cameraman-killed-pierre-zakrzewski/index.html

The far right hates American democracy. Is there even a "mainstream" conservative media anymore?

Alright then. Since you are too busy to do my research for me....... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_sharing https://cnduk.org/resources/united-states-nuclear-weapons-europe/#:~:text=Approximately 150 American B-61,the Netherlands%2C Italy and Turkey.

Maybe Putin and the Russian media can see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I was asking about US tactical nuclear weapons.

Are they stationed in Europe already? I'm not certain but I don't believe NATO nations are allowing them there at this time.
  15. The current situation has severely damaged Putin's popularity in the USA which will drag down that of his sycophant the orange menace. Anti-Trump forces will now start to become stronger in the GOP.

Russians have always been known to be very tough and very hard and to be willing to make sacrifices. They have not been known for having great leadership.

He certainly has. Russia under Putin has been involved in more than one conflict where the power of a nuke could have come in handy. But for some reason they have not yet been used.....

Striking in western Ukraine near Poland is to be expected. The Russians are going after the supply lines. They would be foolish not to.
  20. EV pickup trucks are "coming soon". If and when large numbers of them actually become available TX and OK will probably be huge markets for them. Independent eclectic motors on each wheel would make them the most capable 4x4s ever built.
  21. Kind of like explaining climate change to someone who thinks FOX is "news". You have to speak slowly and clearly.

Who are we kidding? The existence of the strategic nuclear arms of the "superpowers" guarantees that the world will suffer their use sooner or later. Murphy said so long ago.
  23. The oil patch there was badly burned when they frantically threw money at increasing capacity before the price fell. Sometimes people learn hard lessons and those lessons stick. The price is now high again. For the moment. But there is good reason to believe that supply and demand will come back into balance before huge investments in tight oil production can pay off.

I'm certainly not an expert or even a well studied amature on war fighting. But that would not seem to be a tactical use of a weapon. I am also fairly certain it would result in retaliation of some form from NATO. Because once a willingness to use them in this kind of situation is demonstrated further use would be nearly guaranteed.

But it also would not advance their goal. A tactical nuke would be best used to stop a large force that was advancing on your nation. I can't see any other use and certainly none in this situation.
