Oh, yes, well, I actually had to work today, so I abandoned Cora to Old Pasadena, and then grabbed her again and went people watching up at Universal City....ate dinner at Wolfgang Pucks, and played tourist. Tomorrow we are whale watching in San Pedro and having dinner down there - she's not been on the open ocean...mucho fun....hope you gave Dave a hug from me. 'Kay, folks, as the bombs and missles flew, I drove down to LAX, made it through heavy security, and parked at the wrong terminal...hiked about a mile (yes, LAX is HUGE!!!), made it to the baggage claims, and circled, looking for a "skydiver".....and there she was...cute redhead, fierce hug, great lady! I jump a spectre...and haven't jumped anything else so have no ability to compare. I thought my weird at the bottom openings were a result of my body position (and they really may be...) but I've had some interesting ones...one at sub terminal where I thought I might have to chop it because it was wonky...several others that "twitched" me around. I'll pay more attention this weekend when I jump, and see if it's something I can spot (although what I dunno), or if there's something I notice about how it feels. Tosca, reach out to her now. She needs to know that people love her, and care about her. If she does get angry, chances are she isn't angry with you, but simply angry at everyone right now. And like Wendy says, get in touch with her again in about a month. People will have stopped coming by and contacting her, stopped reassuring her she is not to blame, and she will need your support then, too. That is the comment I was obliquely referring to, Kev... And independently confirming this comment, as well. While I am not affiliated with one or the other party, I do consider myself more to the middle of the spectrum than to either fringe. Actually, I joke around and call myself a republicrat, or a demoblican...I have issues with both parties.... What I find interesting is your posting today has carried some heavy rhetoric, and yet you didn't bother to verify something which took me about 20 seconds to locate. Granted, I knew it was there from previous research and following the decisions of the people I vote for (as a collective whole; I obviously cannot vote in Virginia), so I knew how to locate it rapidly. Please also note that the link I provided was not from someone who supported it, and who obviously voted against it. I "trust but verify" for the most part. All I was doing was correcting a false comment, and if you thought that I was rubbing it in, that is your opinion and you are welcome to it. There are several others (but those are bookmarked at home, and I'm not at home yet....) that I read, as well, and find a great deal of information which doesn't make it into the US news - at least from the arab perspective.
