    Haven't made my first wingsuit jump but this was in the wingsuit FAQ: 8. What equipment do I need to fly a wingsuit? In addition to your rig and wingsuit the following are recommended: -BOC deployment system (no pullout / PUD or bungee collapsible PC) -A large docile main canopy, especially for your initial jumps -Helmet -Goggles -Wrist mounted altimeter (chest mounted altimeters can give false readings) -AAD (although the AAD may not work if you fly slower than the minimum activation speed) -Audible altimeter -Hook knife, mounted in a location other than your legstrap (legstrap will be difficult to access inside the suit) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lord, let me be the person my dog thinks I am.

    That kind of ad keeps showing up every so often. Gear worth more than twice the asking price. Posted by a Premier member most of the time who has been a member for at least a couple of years. The ad usually disappears after asking for serial numbers or a phone number. Sometime it shows up again a couple of days later.     Yeah, I was kind of thinking along those lines (you and Phreezone). I have a pc109 I'm setting up for a sidemount anyway but this thing came up.     I can get a new TRV-80 real cheap at a local appliance dealer affiliated with ABC warehouse.     What was really funny was he worked with my father in law in Sturgis for awhile. My in laws knew he had a family but didn't know his other life. I didn't know him until after that.     Dunlap, that's it! I was trying to think of it today. Also just remembered whose name I was trying to remember. It is Ray Scheetz. Do you remember him. He had about for rigs with paracommanders in them. Always jumped them and packed at home. He was in some kind of special forces thing. Used to dissappear for a while at a time. I think he was killed landing a Cessna and hit the wires. I saw him clip them a couple of time at Dunlap.     Again, it was "back in the day" but we did jump one quite a bit in Coldwater, Michigan. Never did any exits with floaters. We didn't have to contend with the lip on the floor as the owner flew some cargo with it and had a wood floor we stuck in that tied down with the seat belts.
