Thanks for your reply. Coming from your perspective I am sure you said it much better than I would have. It is a very good explanation of the Catholic Church's position. The Church has received much from converts like you. davjohns - I appreciate the noting of your respect for the Catholic Church. I understand that we won't ever all agree but respect for each other is important. I don't usually get into these discussions because I have a hard time putting things in words. I appreciate your reply to that. In light of how you replied, I think it would be interesting to discuss this face to face with you. You just can't put everything meant into a thread on line. I get frustrated with texting too when a phone call is what is really needed. You apparently have had more than your share of unfortunate encounters with Christians. No, wasn't judging just maybe jumped to a conclusion too quickly. As long as we are there though, no one asks for a woman to put her health in jeopardy. I have said many times as much as I would hate it I would sell my soul to satan if that were truly the only reason women have abortions. It would save many many babies. According to different sources there are something over 1 million abortions in the U.S. each year. Lets knock that in half and say half a million. I doubt that very many of those were cases of a woman that had her health put in jeopardy from having a baby. Asking that a union between two people of the same sex not be called marriage is not judging them. I know and respect people with those inclinations. Well..............a Christian that does those things is not much of a Christian. I know of some that do some of those at times. I am certainly (almost said probably) one of them at times. I am not perfect. That is one reason I am a Christian. I strive for perfection even while knowing it isn't possible and perfection to one person isn't perfection to another. And in that imperfection I ask God for forgiveness and strength to do better. I am hopeful and willing to bet (oops, shouldn't gamble) that you don't know any single Christian that does all of those things. But as I say, we all do one or some of them. And then they add up to being what "Christians do" and end up on a list like that. The one item on the list that seems to be most misunderstood is the judgement thing. All one has to do as a Christian is disagree with a lifestyle or other choice and we are "judging" them. Yes, some speak out harshly about what they don't agree with or even treat a person as a lesser person than he or she would a Christian......that is WRONG and that IS judging. I know I will take shots on this but I pray it helps in some small way why we don't always get things right. So fire away folks, that is what this forum is for. A little off topic but does the black hardware present a potential problem when used with black risers? I'm an automotive designer and work all day on Unigraphics and would love to have a 3d printer. I just bought the Swann hd camera similar to the Hero and making a mount with a 3d printer was the first thing I thought of. What kind of files do you use (step, iges, etc.)? I picked one up on woot for $144 including shipping. Haven't jumped it yet and not sure when I will but I have taken some video at 720/60 fps and 1080/30 fps. 720 didn't look so great but 1080 was pretty good with a tiny bit of choppiness on cars going by but not really any on someone walking. Was watching it via hdmi straight from the camera on my 47 in. 240 hz tv (if that makes any difference). Oh, come on. Mine got me to the ground every time. It was the first canopy I owned. I loved it, I could jump out of an airplane and live. Plus I always had an arrow to show me which direction I was going. Although I did cut the lines on it a few years back to make sure I didn't have any stupid ideas about jumping it again. My last winter jump was about 25 years ago under a Paracommander onto a frozen lake with about 2 feet of snow on it. Once I got the frost scraped off of my glasses I could see the lake but I couldn't see how hard the ice was under the snow. I am in Michigan and don't smoke. We have 12 inches of snow on the ground. Kind of hard to jump it before I pack it to see if it fits in my rig before i buy it--in my living room. I was just trying to find a way not to puke while packing it. Like I said above, I hung it in the garage with a fan on it. I sprayed a tiny bit of Febreze in front of the fan. Well, the canopy is perfect and obviously must have been stored indoors. I hung it in the garage with a fan on it and sprayed tiny amounts in front of the fan so the canopy didn't actually get wet. This was before your reply. The combination of fresh cold air and the little bit of spray helped a lot.
