Because I'm old and decrepit. But I did just watch two episodes of the old 1963 skydiving show,Ripcord. I bought a tape of 4 episodes on E-bay. It is a lot cheesier than I thought when I was 9 years old. But it started my drive to jump out of airplanes. You can buy clear lenses for Wiley-x glasses. They have foam almost all the way around the edges. I don't have many jumps with them, but they worked great even tracking on the ones I have made. They come with elastic straps that plug into the temples after you take off the back portion of them. I bought mine on E-bay really cheap. Option 2. By the way I liked your article in Parachutist. I was thinking of writing in with a little info on how I learned to relax while going through an anxiety/depression problem a number of years ago. I learned to relax to the point that just the word "relax" (my work I used while listening to my relaxation tapes) said to myself calms me down quite a bit right away. I know furnaces have a probe (can't think of the correct name) that has to stay hot from the pilot light or it shuts off the main valve to the furnace. Same with gas water heaters. Do you have pilot lights on your stove or is it electronic? Whatever the case you should have it looked at. It should not be able to be turned on and not light or if not lit soon enough it should have a safety shutoff. You were very fortunate. Thanks for the replies. I have a swatch coming from my dealer now. But I think I am going with the lemon from what people have said. I want the yellow as bright as I can for visibility. No, I'm not German, just matching my Infinity and jumpsuit finally. I do work for a German company - Benteler Automotive. I'm getting ready to order a Silhouette with one of the the color combinations in the attached pic. First, which one do you like best. Second, does anyone have experience with the yellow vs. the lemon colors PD has? Is the lemon too bright with the other colors.
