From the reasearch I did when i was thinking about it, it could be bad if your goggles fall off in freefall.. this has happened to me twice now, .. I decided not to do it... yea? well... someone keeps turning my cypress off at night... Seriously!!! I turn it on for jumping on saturday, but when I come back on sunday IT'S TURNED OFF.. Next thing you know I'm gonna loose altitude awareness and DIE all because someone messed with my gear. FGF #??? I miss the sky... Very true... The DZ I learned at taught both hands on one handle... When I lost my proficency the first time (prior to A lic) I did my recurrency jump at a different DZ that did one hand per handle, ... I explained to them that's not how I was trained and they ageed that I should continue with what I had been taught origionally.. Stick with what you know and have practiced.. No reason to change FGF #??? I miss the sky... There are 10 types of people in the world... those who understand binary and those who don't.

They are just trying to wake you up to a serious situation.. I'm sick of seeing people just "sleeping around the dropzone" ... I just dont wanna see one of my friends waking up to find himself naked with obsinities written all over him / her, seen it too many times already Mabey you should correct what it is that got you on the list, figure out who put you there and see if they have any recomendations for "stay awake pills" so that you can get off of it. Both procedures are used frequently... I use two hands on each handle, just how I was told to do it... But for now just listen to what your instructors want to teach you to do... But, one idea of 2 hands on each handle is that you cant accidently pull the reserve before the cutaway if both hands are on the cutaway.. Also more force if it's a hard pull.. I think that one hand on each handle can be done a bit quicker... They both have pro's and con's FGF #??? I miss the sky... Has there been? One case comes to mind, but people are torn whether or not it really was someone tampering with his equipment.. Is it happening to you? Seriously... You think your that special that someone would take the time to mess with your gear? Get real. NOBODY IS SCREWING WITH YOUR RIG. and as I've said before, if you quarter your slider and dont notice that it's partially colapsed, your an accident waiting to happen. (and by nobodys fault but your own) I dont see how you couldnt notice something like that during packing.. FGF #??? I miss the sky... I would shake in the plane ride up, SHAKE, thinking "why do I put myself through this time and time again!" as the plane went to altitude... This lasted through my 19th jump... On jump 20 something just clicked and I wasnt that scared anymore... But even today, sometimes, I get a bit nervous, not as bad, not near as often, but sometimes I get a little scared.. I've had that happen when wearing gloves, a couple times... Unfortionately I dont have keepers on my risers at all... Thinking I might have my rigger put some on next time I have to give my rig to him (as well as those "hold the slider down riser things") FGF #??? I miss the sky... I've used the neptune as a wrist mount for more jumps than I havent (which isnt *THAT* many, but)... I love it, it had it's glitches, but Alti-2 has been awsome about putting out software releases, and I have not had issues with it as an altimiter since the first time I updated it awhile back.. I've used it on two night jumps as well, cant beat it... I love the neptune, you probably would to. FGF #??? I miss the sky... My big question for you is why didnt you post some of that info to start off with, try to defend yourself from the beginning reather than hide everything like you were flying a 2:1 wingloading with 50 jumps or something. All you did was tell us to "F*CK OFF" because you didnt have to defend yourself.. Well, you put a post up like you did, and guess what.. You'd better defend yourself because when there is a lack of information people will start drawing conclusions on this board. You shouldnt kite your canopy, however if that's the worst of what you do, you'll probably be off that list as soon as you clean up the attitude. Sounds like your having a good time, ... I feel that the bounce pool is a second chance. If I was the jumper in question, I would take that as my second chance, really take a look at why I got there, and be happy that the DZ didnt just tell me "Seeya, we wont let you jump here anymore" ... which could be the other option I guess..
