LOL! Shut up, you guys. It doesn't matter what his frickin' jumpsuit looks like. I HATED using student jumpsuits, and was so glad when I finally bought a used one. It's black, maroon, and grey, clashes with my gear hardcore, has a big rip just above the arse, and I LOVE it. I'll worry about matching/looking pretty later. Just buy a used Tony or Bev suit or something. It'll be cheap. Check the ads here, or on enclave.com. But yeah, a jumpsuit is a good thing to have. Pet me! I'm harmless and cute!

I'm uncoordinated as hell (the rude could acurately say "clumsy"), completely unathletic, and got thru AFF in 7 textbook jumps. (I suck NOW, but that's a different post.) I really think it's completely unpredictable. Enjoy the anticipation, and don't spend a lot of time worrying.

IN FACT (doing a little post-whorin' here, hee hee) I first logged onto DZ.com as a one-tandem wonder, and asked a big buttload of silly whuffo questions, and every one of them was patiently and good-naturedly answered. And I think most of us try to keep that good attitude alive. Pet me! I'm harmless and cute!

Oh, pshaw. I'm super nice to whuffos. I (very happily!) explain anything they want to hear, and manage not to roll my eyes if they irritate me. I'm sooooo nice to tandems it's ridiculous. Once, I ran into a woman at the dz I'd spoken to once before -- she'd come out "just to watch" and I talked her into doing a tandem that very day. When I saw her again, she was doing AFF and gave me a huge hug. That said, yeah I make fun of them with other jumpers. I'm a professional editor; we make fun of people who write improperly punctuated letters to the editor. Movie buffs make fun of me cause I've never seen "Animal House." I really don't see the problem here. Pet me! I'm harmless and cute!
