  1. Yes, andrew you are correct. It is a cool, simple, fixed visor helmet. The visor is easily removed, or replaced. We even have a 1/2 "Swoop" visor for this helmet. jeanie
  2. Hi Paul, 4 weeks if you order from us, Less time if you order from one of our dealer that have them on order for stock... cya! jeans
  3. Wow, Did you guys see Bonehead's NEW Boomerang Helmet? It's finally out! http://www.boneheadcomposites.com/2002/standard.htm#Boomerang Jeanjeanie
  4. you don't need to cut anything off the camera to fit the camera in the box. Some people don't realise that by removing the hand strap you null and void any possibility of waranty by Sony. And things do happen to these cameras that would fall under waranty my 2 cents jeanie
  5. Hi, I saw the post and thought I would respond. Chris made the box so you can put the strap inside and have to struggle with it fitting the same everytime. Or you can put it outside the box and glue layers of pad inside the box for a perfect fit everytime. I normally opt for choice number 2. Jeanie
  6. Not only do they put "HOT" on the McDonalds Coffee Cups, but then you get COLD coffee............ Can't stand thier coffee anyhow. jeanjeanie you can sue me for everything, but you'll never take my sense of humor

  8. The man has spoken............................ Hey Chris, I have noted of a few interesting things on our website. A. Do you see the word "skydiving" on the Standard Helmet Page? B. Not on the Camera Helmet page either. Hum, Interesting C. I don't see it on the Accessories Page. D. There is a mention of 'Parachutists" on the Military Page..... E. Very interesting, "Boneheads In Action", there it mentions that Bonehead is 'Not Just For Skydiving Anymore" Followed by an interesting picture. http://www.boneheadcomposites.com/2002/BIA.htm Do you think this might confuse some of the viewers? Chris, I am sorry for all this confusion I have created on your website, I will get onto the site and make the changes noted below. 1. Specify that we at Bonehead Composites do more that just build Skydiving helmets. 2. Clarify that the "Riders Rage" is a Novelty helmet ONLY for novelty motorcycle riders. a.I have seen some of the 'Smooth and Tortuise shells being swooped, should we ground these folks? I hate limiting the items on your great products, but to avoid all this confusion I guess we can. Please get back to me n this right away, Chris, so I can make any necessary changes. Cielos Azules, Blue Skies, and all that............ "we borrow the earth from our grandchildren"...... jeanjeanie
  9. Bill, go to a search engine and type in "novelty Motorcycle Helmets" Hog Riders like rules and regulations less than we do. in reality very few states require helmets, let alone, DOT for folks over 17 years of age. The Novelty Motorcycle Helmet Market is HUGE. Actually Snell is much tougher that DOT. But basically it is all about impact attenuation, shock dispersion and penetration.... (he he , I said "Penetration"...........). DOT does not test, they set criteria and standards for independent testing. Then randomly test companies claiming to meet ratings. 10. We are doing a poll on how Freefliers would feel about a Full-faced Low-Low Profile helmet that offers full-perpherial vision. We are noticing freeflying becoming more of a contact sport, Flying closer and faster in competition as well as every-day jumping. But, we also understand the issues regarding the full-face helmet on the market today. So, my question is..... Do you think there is a need growing for full-face protection in the freefly market? Thanks for the answers.......... jeanjeanie www.boneheadcomposites.com ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ we borrow the earth from our grandchildren ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

  17. boomerang \Boom"er*ang\, n. 1. A very singular missile weapon. It is usually a curved stick of hard wood. When thrown with a quick rotary motion, it describes very remarkable curves, according to the shape of the instrument and the manner of throwing it, often moving nearly horizontally a long distance, then curving upward to a considerable height, and finally taking a retrograde direction, so as to fall near the place from which it was thrown, or even far in the rear of it. 2. a new HELMET by Bonehead Composites. @@@@@@@@@@ OOPS, did I just cross the line? 18. Sony makes a lens that does not require a step up ring, it is a dirrect 30 mm thread. Otherwise you need a 30mm adaptor. The other number would depend on the lens thread, with sony and kenko it is usually a 37mm. jeanjeanie www.boneheadcomposites.com
  19. SkyBytch may have forgotten to mention the NEW OptiK helmet from Bonehead. Nice Flat sides, INTERNAL audibles and a special introductory price. Don't take my word for it........ ask the Bytch! jeanie
  20. Hi Ann, Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the rudder problem. All I can say is that you need to get more aggressive. Fly the helmet don't let it fly you. Point your nose at the subject. Too many people are out there flying top mounted that are an example to us that it does work. I remember my first jumps with the TRV10 on top, I kept getting kicked back to a sit. Grin and BARE it. You come through, but don't give up. jeanjeanie www.boneheadcomposites.com "check out the optik video system"
  21. Hi SkyMonkey, Thanks for your report on the OptiK. People are loving it! It's up on the website now. Cya on the rebound! Jeanjeanie ww.boneheadcomposites.com
  22. What a great price! San Diego is a better place to fly into anyway if you are coming to Perris. Faster to get to the bar!!! Ontario is the best but not everyone flys into! OX jeanie
