    How do the sailors control the sails? Automatically? My Dad brought up a good point, as we have both sailed catamarans, that it is quite a challenge consistently flying the hull a small amount. I would imagine with sails that move slowly such as these massive boats, that it would be very hard to make the small adjustments that need to be made.

    Just checking in to say that I love Bacon. Oh, have you guys tried baking it? It works very well. Also, if you do pan fry it, do it with low heat and flip often. Long live good bacon!!

    When the airplane is climbing under full power, the airplane is flying at high speed, and angled uphill. This makes it much easier to hit the tail. Configuring for exit means the pilot levels the plane, reduces power, and may or may not put the flaps down. The plane will be flying slower, and level, making it much easier to exit without worrying about hitting the tail. Not to mention the reduced speed makes floating outside the airplane much easier. To JimmyH: My point was that you didn't hit the tail while doing AFF. Students are already overloaded with info, and having them worry about things that won't happen is a bad thing. Bill did you a favor by telling you not to be concerned. Later, when you started doing H&Ps out of the 99, I am sure you were told about the issue of hitting the tail.

    #3 We didn't hit the tail. I was like "cool" #4 When I did a jump out the of 99 I was told not to jump up, because unlike the Cessna, the 99 is going much faster and hitting the tail is actually a possibility. I was like "oh damn, I almost hit the tail because I didn't listen" #5 The next jump, I made sure to listen to what I was told, and didn't hit the tail I was like "oh damn, that's not what happened, I didn't listen, I FUCKED up and did hit the tail!"

    What the FUCK. Leave it up to the damn cities to decide if they want to charge parking. "Free parking isn't free" Hey you are the dickhead who decided to build that movie theatre right in the middle of an already congested downtown, and shut down the movie theatre a mile away that had tons of area to park, not to mention it had 3 times the number of screens. The Sierra Club is backing it too, huh? I saw a guy with a "Sierra Club Sucks" bumper sticker on the back of his dirt bike trainer, I have to say it seems quite fitting.

    This kind of shit doesn't happen in states like Arizona, because enough people open carry that people learn not to fear a piece of equipment. They learn that they should be more concerned about the person. I'd rather someone open carry and know they are armed then concealed carry. So what did you tell the business owner of the restaurant you frequent? "Watch out! Guns are out there, you better be afraid!!!!" People like you live in fear, and require a government to protect them. The guy who is open carrying, typically respects the responsibility that owning and carrying a firearm demands, and it is good for the public to see that responsible gun owners exist in the world. Without open carry, the average citizen would only see firearms on TV in the hands of some guy wearing a mask and cutting off the head of a news reporter.

    Yes certainly real wings are fried, however I didn't think olive oil could be used for frying, so i guessed that the recipe was for baking.

    I only do it so that a large container of hot foot doesn't warm up my fridge. As far as the cooling down faster, I don't think so! Maybe it has something to do with the whole boiling water freezes faster ordeal....

    That is a cool charity game! If I lived nearby I would go. Sharks did reasonably well tonight, good to see Vlasic with a goal, as well as Blake finally picking up the pace. It seems all he ever does is dump the puck down or shoot it right at the goalie for an easy save. Tonight something weird happened, maybe you guys can help explain it. When the players were in the face off circle, the shark backed out and skated around like he was waiting or being swapped for the backup face off guy, but the ref dropped the puck when he wasn't even close. Why did that happen? Never seen it before, I am confused.

    Yes certainly it is a long ways away still, but the sharks have done their time, and they have a very solid chance of making it. I was saying the same thing last year and look what happened. It is fun to watch the team's momentum, we just have to hope they are on the way UP the wave face come playoffs, rather than peak during the season and wipe out come playoffs. I believe!!!
