I've overheard many liberals say that they don't like cops and I have heard many cops say that they don't like liberals. This is obviously a war that I wasn't aware about. Please discuss. What do protesters want? Dead cops! When do they want it? Every 2 weeks!

Man, that's pretty f*cked up. I don't think this was anyone's fault. The farmer came out cuz he heard a noise outside so he went out with a gun to investigate the problem. The only problem with that is, he probably didn't holster his gun and had it pointed out or in his hand. The Deputy probably reacted first and out of reflex or fear that he might lose his life fired shots at the farmer. It was probably pretty dark outside and they both had suspicions that there might possibly be someone out there that was up to no good. About him being handcuffed to his bed, yeah it's pretty fucked up too. However, since the article mentioned that he was being arrested and listed the offenses he was being charged with, he was in the law's eyes, a criminal. I can never understand law and its technicalities but instead of going through the motions someone should have nullified the arrest. I guess since a cop shot another person that's what the law wants and I guess things will get cleared up in court and what not. What it boils down to is that we're all American so we have to respect the law, courts and judges. Hopefully this farmer can hire a smart attorney and get money to pay for his medical bills, and whatever he loses from not being able to take care of his farm and what not. What do protesters want? Well, don't fret my friend. Chicago comes to a close 2nd to the real city. I hated Chicago. When I went out there for a project, (east whacker drive) I tried to find some bars and clubs to venture into. To my disappointment by the time 1:30am rolled around, everything was closing. Here in SC? I went through a lot of the threads about Atheists and chrsitians beliefs. It all boiled down to Atheist don't believe god, heaven, hell exist. I'm just wondering why, I guess. After reading a lot of these heated debates, it made me wonder, why argue the point if you don't believe? There is nothing wrong with that answer. Inane question? So far a few people here have given me honest answers to my question. Honestly, ask yourself, was that really necessary to throw that out there? I don't go bragging about my car and money my friend. Women ask what I do, I tell them. Women see the car I drive, it speaks for itself. Women see the clothes I wear and see the money I spend on drinking and dining with them. If they're impressed by it, fine. If they're not impressed that's fine with me too. Okay, I misworded it. Atheists don't believe in things that don't exist, such as god, heaven and hell. Churches do exist and christians exist as well. Okay, here's an example, you believe you're a great load organizer, right? Do you go out of your way if someone says Billvon sucks as a load organizer he doesn't know his ass from his elbow. Do you waste your time in finding out why he believes that or do you just continue on and focus on what's important RIGHT NOW which is to organize that load and make a great big way happen? Look, I'm all for individualism and what not. However, when I see a majority of Atheists here argue about a god, heaven and hell that doesn't exist it just doesn't make any sense to me. Why argue about a silly book that was written over 2,000 years ago if you don't believe in it? Why argue about a man that probably didn't even exist and called himself a savior if you don't believe in him? Why argue about a heaven and hell that doesn't exist and a god that created it for us Atheist if it doesn't exist? Why argue about a 10 commandments that were written by a god that doesn't exist? What strong argumentative points does an Atheist have to offer except for the plain and simple fact that HE, IT OR ALL OF THAT DOES NOT EXIST. It's that plain and simple. Oh Wise and all knowing one, you answered my question with another question. Seems like I had to pull teeth to get this answer from you. Thank you, that is somewhat what I was trying to get from you instead of you answering my question with another question. However, that still doesn't answer my question. You just stated that because people have different beliefs they'll argue. That's too general and that's what any person with a heartbeat and a brain would do. My question is, if Atheists don't believe in anything, why argue with christians about their beliefs. If someone wants to believe that they were a frog, then so be it. Let them believe that they're a frog. If they're trying to force it down my throat to get me to believe that they're a frog, I'll close my ears and walk around them and go about my way because time is precious in this world. Therefore, I can't waste it trying to find out why they believe they're a frog. I don't get paid to find out why either. Lastly, their being a frog doesn't affect my life so why waste time trying to be inquisitive or debateful about it. I wouldn't want christians to share my views/beliefs as an Atheist. Where did you even get the notion that I said Atheism was better??? This post is not about my life choices. Sure, I mentioned it but it's not what this post is about. Since when did you become the spokesperson for all Atheists? How do you even know that this is going to be a long term choice for me? Let's excercise a little common sense here. That doesn't make any sense. Why would you want to educate yourself about something you don't believe in? Life is too short and precious for it to be wasted on learning about something you don't believe in. Just live your life and let others live theirs. It's so simple.
