    Well I'm a girl and I have a firm handshake, (i'm itty bitty too...) my dad taught me that you can tell alot about a person by their handshake. I have never forgotten that either!

    Okay I gotta know... my soon to be 3 yro was born into a skydiving family (my S.O. has been jumping 5 years and I have been jumping 2) He is absolutely ate up with skydiving. He will sit and watch Cutaway or any other skydiving movie/video time after time, prefers it over cartoons any day. He is always jumping off the furniture and off of anything else high saying "skydive skydive" He puts make shifts harnesses on his toys and hangs them belly down and upside constantly cuz they are skydiving! If we dont pu the new parachustist up, we wont get a chance to read it, it dissapears... This child is ate up with it! We havent taken him to a DZ or anything yet, but intend too soon. And we dont really watch videos that much...so it has to be something else???? Is it possible he's bred to skydive, oh that yould be a mom's dream come true!

    In central florida... High 2.39 Low 2.21 I put 20.00 in my gas guzzler yesterday and that will get me 84 miles!!!!

    ROFLMBO... Oh my...thanks Mike, I'm in stiches now! I needed a good laugh! Alot of those things apply to the southern states too and I am a very proud southern! I lived in West TX for 6 years as well!

    I agree totally, I did a tandem for my first jump, before I jumped I had decided that I was only going to do it once to shut up my jumper S.O. However, after my jump..I quickly signed up for the next FJC (which was the next weekend) and the rest is history as they say. I personally say it's good for the sport, b/c it offers a less expensive way to get the thrill, without having to learn as much, which in turn, I believe allows the passenger to enjoy more, by knowing they have an accomplished instructor taking care of all the nitty gritty. just my 2 cents...

    luckily for us, we have a ton of roll over minutes accumulated on the cell phone and we have free long distance on the home phone...so thats good, Im just gonna miss being held and all of that fun stuff...

    Thanks alot snowwhite! Does he work in skydiving too? My hubby is a TM and couldnt pass up this kind of work. We are talking about getting a motor home for next year and homeschooling...

    Yeah..he's gone til late september mid october...he went up north to work......In 8 years weve never been apart for more than maybe a week at the most...Now I'm looking at 7 months...YIKES! I need vibes, hugs...and whatever else...Its just me and the 4 kiddos....(However they are gettin passed out to the grandparents this summer...)...anyway....just a mondane borig post...i just wanted to share with my fellow skydivers. I wuld love to hear from any other sky ladies out there who have been down this road....
