  1. $60 per day/ $30 per jump + tax (more expensive if paid by cc) Packing is not included. If you get the gear packed you have to have it packed by a packer b/f returning $7.00 If your canopy is unpacked $3.00 riser hookup and you must disassemble it and fold it b/f returning. It gets expensive, but I really want to get some experience before I end up buying Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  2. **Disclaimer-Look at my numbers- I don't know anything. I think that making drastic direction changes at such low altitudes may put you in a much greater jeopardy than a side wind or downwind landing. Way too many low turn incidents Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  3. Oops, somebody beat me to the thread.. Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

  7. Nico, Congratulations on the job appointment. I just started jumping, so its the only thing I think about. Everyday I look at the sky and think that I NEED to jump. Having said that I will most likely be in that position next year, where I just won't have any time to jump for 2 years (safely). Skydiving will be on a break. If you are busy enough and if its important enough you won't even see the time go pass. Skydiving and CK will be here when both you and I return. Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  8. I touch them before jumping and when under canopy. I think, that any quasi-drastic changes occur when you're hanging in the harness or during deployment. Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  9. I just want to see it b/c Angelie is soooo hot Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  10. I'm now unemployed -- which is another story in itself-- and was looking foward to couple of days of camping at the DZ and doing nothing but jumping, then going to the gym and roller bladding at Central Park until I got a new job Today, I was running down the stairs doing about 3 other things and missed about 2-3 steps..... MOTHERFUC..R....Fell down PLF'd but not before twisting my right ankle. I can still walk/limp and put pressure on it but my laterals ligaments are swollen Just my FUC.ING luck Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  11. I just mounted it this weekend -- I have a zip tie attached to the holding bracket and the protrack in its holder with the rubber band around it. They must have changed the bracket because it seems very secure and actually a little difficult to remove it. This set up does place the speaker away from my ear, but I taped the ear holes with electrical tape and I'm able to hear it just fine. Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

  13. I don't know why, maybe I've been sold on their advertising schemes but I really LOVE the Voodoo containers (but too small for me ) or anything aerodyne. To me, (N.B. look at my numbers)aerodyne has things really squared away, I love their features and and how they look. If I could afford it, it would be hands down Icon, Pilot and Smart Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  14. I've just got the ProTrack and I have the a Protec helmet. After a search on the subject I found that lots of people mount the alti inside the protec. The manual mentions that for the most accurate log recording the unit should be mounted on the leg where it gets the most clean air. I definitely want to use it as an audible as well as a log recorder. Are there draw backs of mounting it inside the helmet as opposed to outside? Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  15. I'm not going to tell you about AFF safety. I will tell you that, I just finished it and was very confortable with its progression and safety precautions. I would however, suggest that you do do a tandem. If you're on a tandem you can trully enjoy the fun and excitement of a first jump without being overly concerned if you're doing things correctly or how you're going to handle being under the canopy and landing. In my opinion, leaving the flying to the professional is just going to make that jump so much better. Bear in mind that I went through AFP, which requires 3 tandems (learn to arch, turn, stop, forward movement and some canopy control), and then moves on to 1 JM. The tandems allowed me to be much more at ease with the idea of jumping out of the plane by myself. N.B. I'm too new to know anything. This is just my opinion, based entirely on my experience. 16. I'm very very new so I still pull "high", turn and track at 5K pull around 4.5K. I know its high, but I let people know of my plan prior to exit. I have not had anybody complain or even express a second thought about it. My reason for pulling high is not because I'm afraid to alti, but b/c I want to give myself extra time for a chop and landing the reserve as well as to give more time to play/learn under the canopy.
  17. It used to be about 30 min now it just became over 1 hr Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

  20. You're forgetting the most obvious... Throwing yourself out of a "perfectly good airplane" at altitude, isn't insane but something we love to do and do it as much as possible Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
  21. Did Sky's the Limit in NJ move to PA? Maybe the rumors were true Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

  24. That just sucks. I usually take my sick days when the sky is clear and with low winds. Guess where you can find me on those days. but nooooo, I'm laying in bed bored waiting for the Nyquil to take effect Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
