Unfortunately, a card I kept around for emergencies only was stolen out of my purse (which was a rare occasion I had it), and someone went to pay their court charges, child support, went on a shopping spree, and got phone service... You'd think they would be able to catch the person, but NO... The detective called me about four months after the incident and told me 90% of the cases go unsolved, and since I had fraud protection on my card, the credit card company would charge it all back to the vendors that didn't check for ID. And, like many others, all my cards say "PLEASE SEE ID" on the back of them. Even with that though, only some actually ask for it. I never saw anything threatening about him when I met with him. He seemed to be a decent guy, very cordial towards me and others, and he was never overbearing. I'm not defending him, just telling you how I saw him... I don't know what made him snap. Actually, the funny part of your statement is that it is true. I was wearing a nice, low cut shirt and when given the opportunity, I would definitely lean over and show my puppies. It got my APR down by 1%, and a couple of grand off the sticker. You say, "yea, you're supposed to get a couple of grand off," but when I went to Honda the last time, they did not want to budge off the sticker AT ALL. I thought I did pretty well.

I stayed at Days Inn in Alvin, TX last time and had no problems (it was preferably close as well). Other than that, most people picked the Best Western in Angleton. Thanks. The mileage on the sticker is 30/40, so it's going to be about 27/37. My 2006 Honda Civic was getting about 27-28 mpg in the city, so I see no reason why a 2007 would be different. I still own a 1995 Honda del Sol, but as with any older vehicle, it is due for repair (again). And, in my opinion (if it means anything), I will never buy a used car ever again. I have purchased and paid off both used and new vehicles, but in the long run, it always seemed the used ended up costing me more. But again, that's just me. I am happy with my decision. That's why I kept my automatic Honda del Sol as well. It's for those days that I don't want to have to fuck with driving a stick... I might even use the del Sol for bad weather days. It's easier. I was stuck in downtown traffic coming home from my mother's house this afternoon... Clutch, shift, clutch, brake, clutch... But, I do love the car, so it's all good. Well, since I haven't jumped in about two years, I don't know what the going rate is... I bought the car for a couple of grand under the sticker price, and I feel that the car will last a lifetime if I take good care of it. I mean, it IS a Honda. And, I did the whole used car thing... It actually ended up costing me more in the long run when it came down to having to put money in to it for repairs (it was checked out by Lemon Busters before I purchased it). When I looked at how much I spent to repair the old car, I would have been better off buying a new one. So, now I have both. A used car that I spent almost as much money on so far as the new one. I keep my AC at about 77-80 during the day when I'm not home, it changes to 74 about 30 minutes before I get home, then I have it set at 68 about 30 minutes before I go to bed. It's a programmable thingie... The weekends are set differently of course. I honestly did NOT go to the car dealership to buy a car yesterday. I went to go check on how much my del Sol was going to cost me to get the rotors done, but then, she caught my eye... I did a couple of test drives for you this weekend if you're still looking... 2007 Civic LX Coupe Auto - very sluggish, but still has pick up and go when you slam the petal down to the ground. 2007 Civic EX Coupe Manual - HELL FUCKIN' WOOHOO! That SOB was 0 to 60 in seconds. They almost had to clean the seat when I got out of that sucker. And, after that test drive, I had to buy it... I haven't driven a manual in so long, but it was so easy to shift and oh my... I think I'll go take a peek in the garage to drool some more.
