  1. I say we blame it on the Writer's Guild Strike. Surely there's a skydiving TV or Movie writer who would have stepped in and called, "Bullshit," but was busy walking the picket line. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  2. We'll have to agree to disagree. While the two are used synonomously; there is a difference. In many states, anyone can buy a stun gun, however to buy a Taser requires a background check not unlike buying a pistol. More information here: http://www.airtaserandstungunstore.com/relatedinfo/airtasers-vs-stunguns.shtml Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  3. Psssst. It's fucking TV, mate. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  4. Not to be picky, but the article is about a woman being stunned; not tasered. As you know, stun guns operate using a static charge to disrupt localized muscles groups. Tasers use an electrical watt and the electro-muscular disruption signal affects the entire central nervous system's signal to the body. 6. Way to go...Lew!! If you've never had a chance to have Lew shoot one of your dives, she is an amazing photographer. Doing 8-ways at WFFC, she was unobtrusively all over the formation and every picture was astounding. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I'll take both.. but as an offer and not a request. Them ladies are pretty savvy and I wouldn't get either. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  9. No argument. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  10. It's a good point, but isn't an AFF level 1 dive hard enough without the tumbling act on the first dive and their increased fear factor for the first few seconds? Yup. I watched it a couple of times. The first time I wondered why the reserve side didn't break off, but then after watching it again, it was probably right around the point that s/he was thinking about getting off that it shook out. Well, hell. That makes it easy - I win. What'd I win? Amazon hug or SkyMama spanking? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  12. And, therein lies the root of the problem. Which form of democracy are you discussing? Some of the discussions are rooted in representative democracy, others direct, others liberal, others a republic, etc. The professor has proposed a true form of democracy using a mathematical model whereby representation _could_ be; of the individuals, by the individuals - which however, would require a constitutional admendment. As stated, we are the United _States_, not the United _Individuals_. That is the cornerstone of our government. And, while I undertand the tenets of the professor's mathematical reference,.. Constitutional amendments are not to be taken lightly. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  13. How good are you to _handle_ the task? With a keen eye, most girls can get the job done in two grabs. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  14. I think Ross' intentions with the Admiral were good, but the Admiral was obviusly an operations guy and not a politician. However, getting back on thread... I also think Ron Paul's intentions are honorable, but too wide a swatch of causes for too short a period of time. I'd rather see the next President do 2 or 3 major tasks and keep their campaign promise, than to suggest we pull out of the Middle East, wipe out the FBI, CIA, DHS, this that, etc. Tearing down a building can take a couple of weeks, building a new structure after it comes down requires a good architect, solid planning and usually more time than most presidencies. 15. The judges orders at the time were: It really doesn't matter if you agree, disagree or even understand; he agreed to the terms of the contract. S, how come we get all pissy if someone sues a DZ after signing a waiver (contract), but want to make concessions for this _poor_ man. He robbed banks. He robbed them twice - one as recently as last year. As part of his probation (contract), he agreed to.... End of story. Shit... now I can't find the post where we were making predictions to see how close I got. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  17. I wonder if having the student leave with their sides presented to the relative wind results in the tumbling often? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  18. And, if I remember right... wasn't that how the whole thing started and the Professor told the student (CEO of FedEX), "It wiould never work." I _think_ he got a low grade on the paper too? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  22. If you're wings are going to get clipped, then you must be an Angel. And everyone knows Angels smell like freshly baked cookies. Was that cool or was that cool? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  23. Ohh, Mike. I'm so sorry to hear this. Hoping for the best. Vibes, Bro. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  24. If I were on the jury I'd probably bust out laughing and get disqualified during Voir Dire. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  25. I _think_ there's a couple of areas that like here in the US don't. Most fun I had trying to stay up with the clocks was driving around the four corners area at the time when DST was changing... Arizona was on one time, the Navajo reservation another, Utah another, and I _think_ New Mexico was different WITH the clocks changing. I just remember taking my watch off and saying to hell with it. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
