Can we stay on topic, please. we have a means for forcing that, but you would have needed to specify it in the subject at the onset. Are you going to fucking contribute something about the topic or just keep pissing on the screen? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Friday Morning US CST... I'll post my findings and discuss the poll. Just a little time to get enough results. BTW I received the same poll from the American Legion. So, I did some homework on the matter and thought it would be interesting to see poll results here (mind you, theirs' is just a poll also and those results _may_ be inaccurate). Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

@ Andy & Kelpdiver: "The intent is to gauge mainly preconceived notions." and/or bias. Hopefully, folks will come back and validate their position and/or explain their findings. It's an interesting question, don't you think? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Of the last five Presidents; which one has done the most for Veterans? "Most" is defined as all around aftercare (Mental & Physical Health, Finance, Education, Jobs). Poll is in chronological order. Please vote first, then validate your answer after some research. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Hi Steve No big deal but, crew chiefs didn't fly we were called loadmasters, Oh hell, I knew it was something like that. Some days I forget my own name.....I used to look at loadmasters and ask myself why I didn't join that branch. They sure looked a lot happier than the grunts I hung out with.... Circa 1984, I'm JM on a nightjump. Couldn't see the L so I waved off to the Loadmaster. I'm hanging out the door and the plane does a hard left bank and I'm staring at the ground. Load master taps me to com in and shut the door for the six minute race-track. I back in, flop the step and close the door. I turn to the Loadmaster and tell him, "I can't believe they pay me an extra $100.00 a month to do this shit!!" He tells me, "I can't believe they pay me $150.00 to watch you go." Huh?!???!?! WTF!! Over!! Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Thanks Chris. You've been instrumental in helping with accidents over the years and educating quite a few jump pilots. Keith. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

You mean we can't? Sparky I was thinking something close to that, spark. I'm struggling to think when the last time I was on a 182 jump plane where there wasn't at least 1 other pilot on board. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Some bullet items. At 6'6" and 235-250, using a flitesuit bodysuit for RW with a 10 inch wing or a TonySuit with a 9 inch wing for RW could vary my fall rate from 86 MPH to 126 MPH. At 6'7" 215 you will have no problems with fall rate issues over time. Having said that, there are couple of things to consider while overseas, 1) will you remain 215#, and 2) can you do some reverse planning to order your suit with the suit delivery date being a week before your arrival date? You should take a picture of yourself against something relative and write the manufacturer a note explaining your concerns. I can assure you they have both the knowledge and expertise to build you a suit that will compensate your fall rate accordingly. Just don't bullshit them. It will take a while to really learn how to fly well in RW and it will make you that much better at FF'ing. Once you decide you'd like to try FF'ing, you really can learn how to FF in a pair of BDU pants and floppy shirt. By then, you will have had enough time at the DZ to figure out which FF suit works best for you and which is then the most cool. I am endorsing both Flitesuit and Tonysuits because I have years of experience with them. I'm sorry that I don't know much about "vertical" or "kurupee" to form an opinion. Good luck. EDIT: Spelling. Yeah... speaking of trolls, Bro. Which bridge you been under lately?

Thanks, Mike. While they may have something to say, a troll is just a troll. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Brother, I don't know what that means in the "Cross-stitch" world, but I can tell you the quilting clubs around here would consider that a piece of art and an act of love to be savored for generations to come. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

It was during my renegade Catholic years that his first album came out and when he said, "Noah, you're going to have to take one of those hippos out and bring in another one... you got two males and you need a male and a female..." and the following discourse had me laughing for days. WHAT?!?!?!? Poor Sister Theresa. I hope I didn't drive her insane. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Ya know... I don't know if I've just been being dense about the whole "Incident Form" thing, but for the first time... this explanation is THE ONE that makes the most sense of all our discussions about incidents and... well, I can't tell you why the light bulb didn't go off sooner. But, I get it now. Thanks. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I don't know much about hang-gliding, so would this be about the equivalent of us not hooking up three of the attachment points and not noticing the fourth hanging on by a thread in our tandem world? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Agreed. One thing I can give him was his intellectual approach to associating the lack of logic to many areas of religion, government, etc. But as far as "loving" comedic talent I lean more towards; Eddie Murphy (the early years), Steven Wright, Bob Newhart and Bill Cosby. Assuming 10 MPH and using a Time/Speed/Distance formula.... 0.0833 miles 0.1341 km Evidently, the RCMP's or the SaR teams have migrated over to GPS and no longer carry a compass to shoot an azimuth from the point of launch to the most probably area. While it appears to be a very logical question for you and I; let's hope we don't have the full story. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Yes, you did. blah blah blah That was my mistake. I really didn't care and shouldn't have put it out there. On a separate note... How about sharing something with us about you in your profile. For all we know, you could be just another troll. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

He sells guns. Nothing sells guns like invoking fear. [sure wish we could get the economy back into high gear so people can focus on other "stuff."] Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I suspect George Carlin was never popular, or widely exposed, or widely understood, among the socially-conservative demographics, especially in regions of the country where social conservatives vastly outnumber those who were, and are, not. Being the generation I am, and having grown up and lived a lot of my life in the Northeast, I've taken away a far different impression of Carlin's career than you have. So, "Who doesn't like George Carlin?" is kind of like "Who doesn't like chocolate?". The answer, of course, is: "People who don't." Here's his Wikipedia biography, for what it's worth. In scholarly fairness, it should probably be read in its entirety. I suppose there's enough in there for anyone to cherry-pick stuff out to support one perspective or another. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_carlin The question was... "Who doesn't love George Carlin?" I gave my answer. I'm really not sure how this turned into a socio-political demographics discussion in Bonfire, but I will not engage photon torpedoes.
