>You think they don't already do this, in addition to surveillance of US citizens? Yeah, I kinda do since that was my job for a long time. Although, I never surveyed US Citizens. >With that sense of humor, you'd be a prime candidate for a TSA job. I'm pretty much over-qualified. But, I do have a large bucket of TSA jokes. 1. 17 Intelligence Agencies. 2. 75 Billion Dollar Budget 3. Multi-billion dollar satellite programs, aircraft, weapons, electronic sensors, intelligence analysis, spies, computers, and software. 4. 200,000 Intelligence Community Employees + Contractors 5. A Director of National Intelligence (DNI) You might be asking a bit much, Don. As you are no doubt aware, those resources/people are in large part being used to run and analyze surveillance programs. If such surveillance was outlawed, many of those people would be out of a job. Don You're kidding, right?Well, OK, maybe they'll be put in a basement cubicle and allowed to post to dropzone.com all day. Don Or maybe they could shift the declination of their azimuth 180 degrees to outside the US - instead of on US citizens. Rather than targeting terrorists and really honing in on them, the US Government is running secret, extravagant, unconstitutional, and an out-of-control labyrinth of electronic surveillance operations that targets every American. This government has redefined citizens as suspects. And, then acts appalled that we dare purchase encrypted phones to protect our privacy from our [we the people] government. And, your biggest concern is for the jobs for those who survey its own citizens. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Doesn't it scare you that the government acts like it's entitled to spy on anyone and is appalled when something helps to protect your right to privacy? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

It's only race and religion that get SCers worked up. Oh, I thought we were playing the gun card. My bad.

Why is this news? Stories of people killing "their own kind" rarely make national headlines. Same with the UPS killings. I don't know. That was kind of my point. Perhaps a question for Kallend? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

There in lies the rub.... 10 should mean 10 @ hard labor 20 should mean 20 @ hard labor And as you say... Unfortunately, nobody is afraid of going to prison anymore. Gulags. We need to think Gulags. Hell, outsource prison to the Russians. Prolly be cheaper and more effective. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Like the 10/20/Life rule in Florida? Use a Gun & You're Done. The law's name comes from three main mandatory sentences: 1) producing a firearm during the commission of certain felonies mandates at least a 10-year prison sentence; 2) firing one mandates at least a 20-year prison sentence; and 3) shooting someone mandates a minimum sentence of 25 years to life regardless of whether a victim is killed or simply injured. In geek speak; it's a form of touchpad. Not unlike a keyboard membrane that you place on a table. The Surface Pro keypad is a type of "foil." Having said that, you both bring up a bigger issue for consideration regarding, "Branding." ETA: I too; chose 164. If she runs...will Hillary Clinton become the next president?
BIGUN replied to Dantes's topic in Speakers Corner
Oh, I'm not going to say that the lines don't bisect at times. Some of his policies are definitely right-wing party line, but as a result of his beliefs and not because he's been led by the nose ring. The substance of his speech was good, but lost in the quagmire of his poor delivery. Agreed. And, like Lawrocket said - doomed. The only car I've ever been passionate about is a 72 Chevelle SS. Other than that, my car bubble is off center as I prefer Harleys and Dodge Pickup trucks. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

If she runs...will Hillary Clinton become the next president?
BIGUN replied to Dantes's topic in Speakers Corner
If she gets the nomination, I'm pretty sure the GOP will find a way to put the worst candidate out there. One that appeals to the hardcore GOP fringe and alienate every swing voter out there under the moronic assumption that everybody else hates Hillary as much as they do. I hope Governor Jindal decides to run. Having said that, I am a bit biased having worked for him. He seeks counsel and weighs the risks & benefits and have seen the man be very decisive during a disaster. Not once did he succumb to rumors without seeking fact. His own State has benefited greatly from some of his initiatives and policies. Very much a conservative; but not a party-line Republican. An additional solution for bookmarking something specific by a specific poster is to: 1. Create a Dropzone.com folder in your bookmarks library. 2. Click on the hyperlinked "Shortcut" just under the poster's username and save that to your new dropzone.com folder. 3. Rename the bookmark for specificity - i..e, Bigun Canopy Control.
