  1. I'll ask that you respect the man for his heroism and forgive him for his weaknesses. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  2. Therein lies the whole Ying/Yang of the matter. It's difficult for either side to disprove the other. As to "Indoctrination," I was raised Roman Catholic in a predominately Sicilian household. I have roots in the catholic church and now go more for the formality of tradition than spiritual guidance. I find it difficult to believe that there is NO complementary blend between the existence of a "God" and science. It's very difficult for me to believe in a "Zeus" type God than the quantum physical type God where,
  3. Sounds like an idiotic attention whore to me. Thanks Christel I was searching for the right words.. If you and Christel did ten seconds of research on Meyer; you'd find he has a history of psychological wounds which has resulted in PTSD, alcoholism, suicide attempts, etc. These have been issues for almost every MoH recipient since the medal was developed. Having said that, I'm fairly confident that the media lies in wait for anything he says and its not him seeking out the attention. I'm also confident there's more in the military and veterans than not that would say the same thing. We refuse to let piss ants try to instill fear in us. Even when the Army Ranger was beheaded - he had refused to get on his knees... they had to take him down. I would ask that when the time comes when you have displayed such heroism that people would be more kinder in their words about you. Chances are good that you won't get to display that type of heroism because men like him have. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  4. Well, there have been three players in the NBA who were shorter than 5'7". You can ALWAYS find outliers. I do not believe that science can disprove the existence of God; I think that impossible. And if it is impossible, is not a belief in science and in a God - a consistent possibility? Not long ago, I read an article with a poll wherein 40.xx% of physicists believed in God. However, it did not explain what type of God they believed in... Whether it was their father's God or a Spinoza form of God. 5. See. That brings us full circle back to the topic. Isis; the Goddess of Health, Marriage & Wisdom was able to resurrect her husband/brother when he was murdered by using her magical skills to restore his body parts to life after having been strewn about the earth. So, it can be done.
  6. WAIT!!! You trying to say there's no Santa?!?!??! Foolishness, I see him every year.
  7. I know, right? Some even use it as a code of morality, ethics & integrity. Next thing you know - people will actually write laws referencing a work of fiction or even have the President take an oath on one (or two as did Obama). Silliness.
  8. Oh, there's a list alright. BEER LIST And, it does need to be updated with the advancement of VS, WS and CP.
  9. I know, right? Well-renowned modern physicists like Artigas, Wheeler, Barbour, etc. all believing and in some cases actually writing about the existence of God. Such Foolishness.
  10. Pat, So much work, time and collaboration culminating into another Works' of art. I want to thank you for the many years of joy and introspection I've had looking at "Man as Butterfly" and "Man to Bird." Those two pieces of art have given me many moments of putting things in perspective. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  16. That type of card has been around for thirty years that I know of... He forgot, "Swamps drained, alligators wrestled, etc. etc." Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  17. Made me laugh... Dan: "Okay Dak, lets run it up the middle." Dak: "Coach, we did that last play." Dan: "Yea, but this time we're going to be tricky about it." On a separate note: TU's Coach Bill Blankenship was fired yesterday. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  18. Ahhh yes, the days of three custom rigs and a tandem rig, plus three suits, plus which boogie this month? Between skydiving and Harleys... if I had been born a "normal" I'd be much further ahead financially. But, then again, I would have had a life and not have lived. 19. >>>>>>>>I've learned to focus my retail therapy -- for me, part of the therapy is in the search. Buy a Harley... it's all about the hunt for cool shit, more chrome, higher apes, complete exhaust or just slip-ons.... Days of searching the sites, comparing prices, well, if I do this, then should I add that. Is that gonna require this? Man grunt. It's the only "shopping" I do. The rest of it is assault shopping. Go in, buy, get out!! Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  21. Captain America 3 is officially coming to theaters on May 6, 2016 – the same day as Batman vs. Superman. I simply don't know what I'm going to do.
  22. OPINION: Replace with Altec Lansing. Creative is known for their "humming, buzzing" issues. SUGGESTION: 1. Update sound card driver. 2. Check for grounding problem or loose connection. 3. Go to Creative's website and look in their troubleshooting page. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  25. BAD Parrot A man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to 'clean up' the bird's vocabulary. Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even more rude. John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute. Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arm and said, "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior." John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird spoke-up, very softly, "May I ask what the turkey did?" A Happy Thanksgiving All.
