  1. Slipped in my pole dancing class Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  2. I have about 130ish jumps on rounds from the old days, but won't give advice over the Internet about reserve procedures. You do need to do that with someone experienced up close and personal. There are a couple of partial malfunctions in which you do not cutaway, so let them teach you the right way. If you have to land your round reserve it will go something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4D2_RZZ8hx4 Learn to PLF from the older Army Airborne guy at your DZ and then your practicals from a height of no less than 6' The parts that hurt after you get up will teach you what you're doing wrong.
  3. Very very carefully Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  4. Approximately 20,000 skydives spanning about 35 years of experience from some of the skydivers I most respect from around the country. How was that for help?
  5. So you're saying you like fiery boobs Wendy P. Some people listen to burning bushes; others fiery boobs.
  6. It would be inappropriate to put that particular Gremlin Bell in his casket. The Gremlin Bell is given by a friend and placed on the bike for safe travels. The Gremlin Bell is to protect you - not him. It should go on your next bike. Cause technically; it did its job. Some - even one would find it distasteful to send him on his final ride with that bell for all eternity. Find something else or get a new gremlin bell. patches, club coins, something you and he shared together of importance. You're not at fault, you're not to blame, he chose the route. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  7. What is your opinion of halakah? Wendy P. I love the candelabras Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  11. I know. I posted a lengthy article from NASA on it. This is discourse and debate. He played a point well. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  12. More stylish? Go sit on top of that slider and then the other guy makes a cutaway. Then land the canopy. :) Please don't. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  13. I vote we outsource our prisoners to the Russian Gulags. Watch the fucking crime rate plummet then.

  17. First, I used to be on the global warming is bullshit path. But, not being a definitive left or right, black or white have been doing some layman research for about 10 years now. I think neither position needs to say right or wrong and stick their heads in the sand on that position, but work together towards a truth about the future. Newer technology from NASA provides more than predictions or projections; but evidence. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  18. Jim. My condolences go to you, the family and close friends of this kind man. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  19. It just takes time and jumps. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  20. Please send one Black officer, one White officer, one Hispanic officer and one Asian Officer. Have the Black one carrying the gun, the white one not and ensure the Hispanic one is qualified in drug control and the Oriental one has a black belt in Karate as long as that's OK with the Black Officer. Never mind...send a coroner. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  22. If I'm reading this correctly; based on the Instructor's rating as an SL/I, when he went out with the student, the Instructor was then acting in his capacity as Coach and did exactly as the IRM instructs. Signal, pull your own. An SL/I is not supposed to act in the capacity of an AFF/I and pull for the student. No, he did not do as the IRM recommends. As coach, the procedure is wave off, if student is still unresponsive, turn and track to gain sufficient separation and deploy by 3500'. Deployment being the final signal that it's time. Doing a practice pull isn't a signal a student is trained to respond to, and waiting til 2500' and deploying in place is stupid and dangerous. You're right, I did not read it correctly. Your response is as the IRM states. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  23. But, do we have to accept that as the norm in the future? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  24. If the ONLY criterion you consider is gender, then it is sexist. If you have arbitrary standards "because that's the way we've always done it", then it is open to abuse. Define the standards the job requires, then test to those standards. The mission standard of these critical and vital units must not be lowered to meet the needs of females. If women are able to meet the physical standards required of the position, then good for them. They should then be granted every opportunity that a man is offered. But do not expect to have that opportunity without being able to toe-the-line with men. You’re going to have to on the battlefield anyway. The mission isn’t any less demanding because women are suddenly trying to accomplish it. And the majority of women in the military don’t expect or want different standards based solely upon their gender. They want to succeed based upon their own actions and merits, not be handed a consolation prize because they were granted special treatment. Military women don’t need to appease certain parts of society that demand this change without ever having served in the military. Women who have been in the military for some time understand the resentment that comes along with ‘equal but different’ standards in a world that demands equality. Unfortunately, we are seeing military leadership more concerned with fulfilling quotas than meeting mission priorities. Many are more focused on setting women up for successful entries into these positions than actually holding them accountable to the standard. Often men train for months to get physically prepared for certain job positions within the military. If women know they have a weak spot physically, shouldn’t they be required to do the same instead of lowering a standard? This is a double standard in a society that preaches equality and a military that demands personal responsibility. Having said that; change is in the air... Here's the disparity of the current Military Physical Fitness test: http://www.military.com/military-fitness/army-fitness-requirements/army-basic-training-pft TRADOC Revises Army Physical Fitness Test - What it is going to be "Since 1980, the U.S. Army has assessed physical aptitude through the Army Physical Fitness Test, or APFT. Commonly known as the "PT Test," Soldiers are required to complete three events: two-minutes of push-ups, two-minutes of sit-ups, and a two-mile run. "Today's PT test does not adequately measure components of strength, endurance, or mobility. The events have a low correlation to the performance of warrior tasks and battle drills and are not strong predictors of successful physical performance on the battlefield or in full spectrum operations," said Lt. Gen. Mark P. Hertling, TRADOC's deputy commanding general for Initial Military Training, who holds a master's degree in exercise physiology. As TRADOC's lead for the test review, Hertling collaborated with a 16-member team headed by Frank Palkoska, director of the U.S. Army Physical Fitness School, resulting in a recommendation to the Army for not just one, but two revised PT tests. "The goal is to align the training and the tests with tasks that Soldiers have to perform on the battlefield so that the commander has a better tool to measure preparedness and can guide training for the unit," said Palkoska."
