Hmmm, kinda depends on where you are... But could it be someone heading to the top floor via the outside of the building, wearing a bug suit, and preparing for a base jump?
-
I'll tip one tonight in honour of your freind.

Please do, Pilotdave, as it was taken down before I got a chance to see it! -
A buddy and I had been talking it about it in an offhand way for about ten years: "...oh yeah, we should try that sometime..", and "...ya, I'd love to try that sometime...". So he called one day and sid some people from his work were going for a birthday thing ... my brother and I went along, did the FJC, and I was "hooked" (no pun intended). Of course, I'm the only one who went past 2 jumps. That was in May '98.

Slight sprain to my thumb when I pulled my reserve handle in the hang harness, and kinda fell backwards.

I don't trust any animals bigger than me! What did ya do to the horse to get even?
-
Which one? There were several...

I'd say 6 jumps in a day is plenty!

Energy drink? I'll have water please... that reminds me of how bloody awful the water tasted in LA when we were there. The whole family sits down at a restaurant and orders water (it's warm out), and when it arrives at the table, we all take a drink simutaneously -- and all almost spit it out at the same time!

My high-school sweetheart and I will celebrate our 18th wedding anniversairy in October -- we had been married almost 14 years when I started skydiving!
-
Carrie, that's a great question! I could go on forever, but things that my friends for many years ('till I started skydiving, actually...) thought was unique about me: being 6'6" being as comfortable in water as on land fascination with the night sky skill with video camera amount of beer I can drink Hmmmm ... I think I'll go grab another beer ... this is heavystuff! Of course, being a skydiver is unique amoung my non-skydiving friends, my family, and my co-workers. Tonight I had mywife come to our landing field, and shoot some video of my kewl little surf I had on landing!!! And of course, my buddy Al, who is a former Junior 4-way national gold medalist, who did a smokin' 2-way with me tonight -- YOU ROCK, BABE!!!

mmmmmmmm ... boobies.....

Tee, that is wonderful! I'd love to see the video! I wish you and Bryan a lifetime of love and skydiving. Let us know when your little skydiver is born! Frank

I remember your first post -- I replied to it!

The issue is (or became), as you referred to, copyright law.
-
He's out there Pammi! I saw him when I looked to see "Who's Online" ... Me? I just don't have the time at work or around the house anymore to play on the computer ... what's YOUR excuse???
-
Just a thought to throw into this mix ... how many of you videographers who shoot tandems, etc, do a little edit job for your customer, and add copyrighted music? Are you stealing someone else's work to make a profit for yourselves? The copyright is expressed on the cd you dub from ... but I would be willing to bet that there is not a videographer out there who respects that copyright.
-
Is that what I've been reduced to? "Another poster" ???
-
Work Sucks! You'd be better off winning the lottery...
-
Has Iona reduced your meds???

If Michele has hired a camera flyer to videotape her jump, then the contents of the tape are hers! Of course, this is not a legal opinion, 'cause I ain't no lawyer, but I would suggest, Jack, that if you don't want people using their video's for anything other than personal viewing, then you have them sign a contract indicating so at the point of purchase.
-
Sounds like you got screwed by a representatives of a big wealthy media company, Jack. I think you were far too accomodating... sorry you kinda got stuck in the middle of this, Michele.
-
Now that's FUNNY!!! Hey, I think it's all good. I'm not good at rw OR freeflying, but I enjoy both. Like Rodney said: "can't we all just get along?"
-
I'm sorry to hear that, Bill. I will honour your friend by thinking of him when I watch the movie, and will a consume yet another beer -- this time to say goodbye to a fallen brother.
