My parents were horrified when I got George and the DD tape. Bad to the bone and I drink alone, were two songs I played over and over. Ahhh the good ole days. LOL!! OK, here are just a few of the groups that made some kind of impact in the 80's. Obviously I couldn't name them all, but there are some on the list that you really wouldn't admit to liking in a crowded room. Feel free to pick them now because no one knows whose vote is whose. I'm with ya on the 60's and 70's too. Having a brother that is 13 yrs older then me helped while I was growing up. he introduced me to Pink Floyd, Boz Scaggs, Moody Blues, ELO, Rolling Stones Led Zep, etc. Beatles will always be a favorite. Is there anyone else out there that will admit to the fact that there is some music from the 80's that is still great? I saw Bon Jovi on Oprah, yeah, I admit I catch her when I can, and promptly went out and bought their new CD. It rocks!! Always have liked them. Doesn't hurt that Jon Bon Jovi is easy on the eyes!! Apparently, The show Commander in Chief brought in 16.2 million viewers. The largest group of viewers in 5 years on a Tuesday night. Wonder why that is? Is the country really ready for a woman President? As for me, I'm not sure how I feel about having a woman President. Not saying she would do a bad job or couldn't handle the position, I just think that a male casts more of a leadership shadow. maybe we should start out with a woman VP and see how it goes. So did any one catch the new show, Commander in Cheif? I must admit, the idea of a woman President in a good one, BUT, I don't think it would ever fly, pardon the pun. Not sure if I can stand Gina Davis as the lead roll, never really liked her as a leading lady. I maybe opening a can of worms here, but what do y'all think? Could a woman lead this country? Obviously, you need to know, as a parent, when you can "push" something and when you need to stop and even take a step back. I don't know....I have two boys, who are "all boys" if you know what I mean. I may not be able to get away with what i do to my two boys if they were girls. I live to scare the crap out of my kids. After a scary movie and I put them to bed, I'll be the first person to go outside and scratch, throw small pebbles or even howl outside of the their bedroom window. Being a streetwise person (and proud of it, I might add...), I am always a step ahead of my kids, because as a child I got into everything and tried every trick in the book. Since we both have kids around the same age, I can relate.... I think I would tell the teacher to "get a grip" & go try to find her sense of humor, since she obviously lost it somewhere. Yeah, thats the tough part, no money doesn't get ya very far with Ebay. But when the time comes for me to purchase something, Ebay is the first place to look. The closest Mall is about 40 miles away (80 miles round trip), so when you figure in the gas $ that it takes to go there and come back, the shipping cost is much cheaper. Then there are things that you just can't get here in my neck of the woods that you can get on Ebay like...TastyKakes! LOL! Bobbi A miracle is not defined by an event. I hear ya, Ebay DOES rock!! You can find ANYTHING on Ebay. before I travel to the mall, even Walmart, I search Ebay. What was the abuloute find, on Ebay for ya? I think for me was the pair of jeans that had tags on them for $165.00 and I won the bid at just $15.00 w/ no reserve. I would have NEVER EVER bought a pair of jeans at the "normal" price. You can buy things with tags on them. You can be very specific with your search for a particular item. I have bought new Abercrombie and Fitch jeans along with AE and Gap jeans ALL that have tags on them and only 1/2 the price. You really do need to know you size and body type and what jeans and such fit you the best. I have also buy new shirts, shoes, etc all with tags still on them. One mans treasure is another mans trash. But OH what good trash you can find! LOL!! A miracle is not defined by an event. A miracle is defined by gratitude.

Does anyone shop at Ebay? Got to admit, I love the site and buy there before going anywhere else. Whats the coolest thing, best bargain, that you won on Ebay. For me...I won a really cool canopy/flag set-up for a 4th of July Demo that we did, $165.00 pair of jeans for ONLY 15.00, Vans, etc. LOVE Ebay!! Bobbi A miracle is not defined by an event.
