    I had to hound the DZO for about a month to get water training, finally, we just went straight to the S&TA, nagging will eventually lget you what you want :-D ooh, and you need one more jumpp j/p BE THE BUDDHA!

    oh, by the way, I just thought of this, earlier on you talked about "converting some of your vertical in to horizontal. BAsics physics principal is that horizontal and vertical motion are completely independent of each other, that is, neither one affects the other, at all. so look at how your body is accepting wind-resistance along the "Y" coordinate. Now, if you're talking about the addition of the two vectors in to a slanted magnitude, yes, that will be affected. when you go in to a track, you're angling downward a bit, so you should pick up veritical speed because less of your body is accepting the wind-resistance directly.     hi li, thanks for your reply...in the past weeks, i've gotten much more comfortable with Kiy's abilities. i can see how much he knows about everything...and i know that he won't do something stupid:) lol, now the only thing bothering me is the jealosy! i'd like to come watch you on saturday, but i'll be home...sittin on a float in some silly parade...*yawn* maybe soon? i'm not going to jump again until next season, but i hope you'll be there to moniter my progress;) thanks for the company tonight at the night jumps! that was sooooo awesome!!!!!!! can't wait until next year when it'll be us up there freezing our tails off in the plane! kiy thought it was about 10 degrees at altitude! oh man!!! bring on the ski suits! lol, talk to you soon, Ry BE THE BUDDHA!

    NICE! so NIght jump was f'ing awesome! got two of em in, (people were complaining cause it was too cold so we couldn't do NE more) it was 10 degrees fahrenheit (or around there up at 11 grand....sissies :) first jump was just a little jump from 6 w/ a landing just outside of the lighted area (everyone landed out there cause cars were too close to the hangar) 2nd jump was a little R.W. with our S&TA. we only planned 6 points and we were done by 7500....I tried screwin around w/ him (cupping to get away and spinning around) but he's too good to spook :) 2nd landing was nice and in the lights, nice little 10-15 ft or so surf. Night jumps...wow ;) BE THE BUDDHA!

    well, currently I"m running of a Toshiba satellite 2455-S3001 laptop. so I was lookin in the way of USB to RCA stuff, rather than an actual card, though I do have a couple desktops I could do that w/ anyone know of USB stuff? jdhill, the point in going through my computer is to do editing, then throw it on VHS. thanks guys! BE THE BUDDHA!

    we freaked a tandem out doing that one time. me and the other packer were talking about how you get sucked out and you really have to watch yourself. the packer (we'll call him D) was only doing a hop'n'pop from 55 so when we got to altitude and heard door, D sat right next to the door and we flung the door open and he screamed and threw himself out (as if he'd been sucked out) the tandem screamed and I swear , almost pissed her pants. definately one of the funniest things I've ever seen...although I'm sure the T.M. wouldn't be too happy if someone peed on him srry for the off-topic comment, not trying to hi-jack a thread BE THE BUDDHA!

    don't think landing off will be too much of a prob for me, all my jumps were made at this D.Z. and I've jumped when it was almost completely black, but not "technically" a night jump because we went up when there was still a little bit of light suggestions on how to keep a cell phone from flying out? zipper pockets on pants maybe? BE THE BUDDHA!

    woo! so, I just found out from my D.Z. that we're havin night jumps tomarrow (wednesday) I'm really excited, first night jump...I mean...did I say 1st? uh...uh... anyway, I guess this post is mainly cause I'm excited and wanted to get it out that I'm doing a night jump. but does anyone have anything particularly cool for me to try that's awesome to do on a night jump? any tips for being able tot watch my canopy on opening? ( I heard you can't see it) L8az BE THE BUDDHA!

    yes...but where is this lodi? 3500 is plenty time to have fun w/ my landings and get in some nice ff. Love that ground rush! Need to find lodi,tell! share! yeah, central michigan skydivers offers hop'n'pops to 5500 (most of the time to 6 grand+ if the dzo is flying)for 10 bucks BE THE BUDDHA!

    although I don't remember where it is, but my dz's pilot told me of $5 hop'n'pops to 3 grand. I guess this was like a yr ago though, I dunno how they could afford to do it w/ today's gas prices? I'll check on the location BE THE BUDDHA!

    yeah, Ure exit looked koo. you need to start doin some flips so we can have something exciting to watch :) or, next time we all jump, when you get out, watch the other jumpers (you should know where they are anyway) it's really cool seeing someone else in the sky. as far as RW goes.... at a bare, and I mean bare minimum, make sure you're perrfectly ok w/ going out of control and recovering....you also need to learn how to track well be 4 you do it. I'm almost positive you'll end up being high person at one point or another...and you'll have to track out of the way of the ppl below you. are night jumps wednesday??/!!!???? if they are, I'm there! but yeah, I'll be there during the day too. by about 4, probly BE THE BUDDHA!

    hey, thanks for the advice, so in ure opinion, are there any solid-state cameras out there that would be good for playing around w/? like I said, I'll invest in something big $600+ after I've had a couple hundred jumps screwing around w/ the camera. this is just for something to have fun w/ and be able to screw around w/ friends. I kinda want to get used to having an inexpensive camera on my head so I can get used to not slamming it in to stuff (door,etc) BE THE BUDDHA!

    Lila, I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed having you on the plane w/ me,richy and aaron. by the way, I watched your exit Just because we're out first doesn't mean we can't watch you!! Muahahahah!!! but yeah, it was a lot of fun having you on the plane, if you ever wanna come up w/ our fun load, you're always welcome! Let us know when/if you wanna start doing some group stuff (when you're stable) we'll get an experienced guy on there and launchsomething...you know like...next season....or the one after BE THE BUDDHA!
