My boyfriend has painted nails all the time....We try to go with a seasonal theme...orange and black for Halloween...I am going to paint them red, withe and blue before Friday... This all started early in our relationship...somehow it has become my job to cut, file, and paint his nails. But I love it!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I think you should cut and donate. If you are planning to cut it at all....go for the full 10 inches and have some good come out of it. If you hate it that short it will grow out soon enough. And in the mean time someone will be benefitting from your haircut. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Main...1.13 (a 190) Reserve 1.18 (a 181) I have landed a demo reserve at 1.34 (a 160), and that was with a whuffo running right at me, landing crosswind and a plowed corn field.... I would be comfortable jumping a 160 consistently. Nothing smaller, though. I want my reserve to be something I don't have to worry about after a crazy spinning malfunction!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I have found that for fast, short term help with congestion a nasal spray works. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I flat pack mine..... The only person who had packed a nice opening for me is the guy who owned it before I did. He pro-packed it. No one else has been able to convince me that I need to pro-pack.... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Good replies so far....I just have one piece of advice. If you know you are a bit tense from outside sources, let the first jump of the weekend be a solo. Just go out and have fun. Do flips, do turns, do whatever makes you smile. I once just watched a distant cloud and it was beautiful. Then, after you have your smile for the weekend, try RW or jumping with other people! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I have 276 jumps right now. I am in no hurry to get my D License. There is nothing that a D license will get me that I need right now. I really just need my night jumps. I will do them when I feel ready. My guess is that will be AFTER September 30. And that is fine with me. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I think I disagree. When someone dies doing what we all love, I cannot help but wonder why. I want to discuss what happened and what can be done to prevent such a thing from happening in the future. I don't want it to be a dogging of the deceased as in what they should have done. It is valuable, however, to learn from incidents while they are still fresh in our minds. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Rushing to gear up....a first link in the chain.... I will always check Skymedic's strap....one day when he geared up for pics (not for actual jumping) he misrouted it.... I am anal about checking it now. I also look around the plane and check people's gear... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I am very picky about some aspects of packing....I jump a Sabre.... I do not use a packing mat....but I also don't drag my container. I have had two cutaways....both on other people's pack jobs. I flat pack my Sabre...and take a lot of flack for it. I have not had anyone pack a better opening for me than I do, except the previous owner of this canopy. I will stick with flat packing. I am not to picky about line stows (heck, I even let Skymedic do them for me.....) I check my closing loop every jump for length and tightness.... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

He is neglecting SOME of the details....like how he dropped it on tarmac the first jump..... It was cool though...I could see the tube right out of the plane...I lost it a couple of times on the way down, but he was easy to spot under canopy!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
