Oh My God!!!! I am so happy for you...although you stole my wedding day!!!! I thought you were going to propose to the lovely Dagny!?! Apparently I missed a chapter! Congrats to both of you. I have let my fmaily know that I do not want them to immortalize me on the side of the road if I were to die in a car accident. Likewise, I do not want to be immortalized at a DZ if I were to go in. I want to be remembered where I lived, not where I died. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Great pics, Andyman and Cracihead!!! I am so glad you guys were there. I am still getting over the end of the reception debacle...but otherwist it was an amazing day. The name changing part is a pain, though! -Mrs. Skymedic ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I think this is especially hard for me because I recently lost my father to lung cancer. He smoked for 37 years, and then successfully quit. Four and a half years later they discovered a tumor in his brain. That was zapped, but his quality of life went on a decline after that. He died almost six years after the orignal brain tumor was found. In that six years he was tethered to an oxygen bottle, he was unable to go to Cardinal Baseball games, which he loved, and he was forced to retire before his mind was ready to. In his last weeks of life he was so out of it he told me to go to hell and to fuck off....thankfully he thought I was my sister. It was an ugly, brutal, painfully slow process. All because he wanted to look cool in high school. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

No skydiving in the wedding at all....we were supposed to be headed to Rantoul to honeymoon (that is how we picked yesterday as the wedding day) but he got into the Fire Academy which runs for another week. Oh, well....we are honeymooning in Cozumel over Christmas instead. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I was not even trying to be funny. Turns out I was on accident. I discovered that the closer I got to my wedding the lower my IQ got. I tried to drive to Office Depot a couple days before and found myself in my own garage, then in the supermarket parking lot, and then finally actually at Office Depot. Scary! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

We did it! I married Skymedic yesterday! It was a wonderful day...not without a hitch or two, but a great time. I did not stop smiling all day! A huge thank you to HH for introducing me to my husband through this wonderful web site. Thanks also go out to Andyman and Craichead for being there to help us, support us, and celebrate with us! -Mrs. Skymedic

Skymedic (met him through dz.com and am marrying him in a week) AndyMan craichead Kris (although he is NOT coming to our wedding!) Those are the ones I believe would drive across the country to help my ass. There are a lot of other really great people I have met through dz.com..... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

This drives me insane, also!!! At my local mall...people wait forever for a parking spot on level two when there are many open spots on level three...and there always are....just drive up a bit..... When they stop to wait there is almost no way to get around them.....drives me insane knowing that there are open spots just one level up.... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

This is right up there with the parents who are baffled as to what to do about a kid who is not doing homework because he/she is on the phone/computer all night. Stand up to your little darling...take the fucking phone/computer away...IT IS THAT SIMPLE. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

As an educator it drives me insane when people put the blame on the educational system. When did it become my job to teach your children phone manners? When my daughter stutters or stammers on the phone, i blame only myself. (and by the way....she is 11 and has only been in my life for the past two years....) I have had amazingly articulate students from parents who work three jobs to keep a roof over their kids head. And from parents who can afford one of them to stay home. I have also had complete shitheads from both situations. It comes down to parental involvement. The number one predictor for a child's success in school is parental involvement....does the parent ask what the homework was? how school was?? Spend 15 minutes with your kid....let them know you expect nothing but the best. Don't ask the educational system to do even MORE of the parenting role..... AAAAHHH!!!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
